Riera hasnt played enough for me... id go with xabi or kuyt... reina has been quiet and for a keeper thats good, must be doing well, no clanggers to talk about!

Gerrard will be there or there about by the end...

Why don't all you guys rate Kuyt?  Even Messi thinks Kuyt is a great player!!

Champions League - Messi: Liverpool are favourites
Eurosport - Wed, 29 Oct 15:15:00 2008
Barcelona's Argentina forward Lionel Messi believes Liverpool are the favourites for this season's Champions League.

"If I had to choose anyone it would be Liverpool," Messi told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"They have great players like Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt and Javier Mascherano, and they are difficult to play against.
"Maybe there are teams that play better football but I see them in the final in Rome."
Messi and Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero are the latest in a line of Argentine playmakers to be called 'the new Maradona' and the pair are in the running for the Ballon d'Or.
When asked, Messi said Aguero would be worthy of winning the trophy, although he could not understand why club team-mate and Spain's Euro 2008 winner Andres Iniesta was not nominated.
"I don't know what I would give to be the first Argentine to win it," Messi admitted.
"But Torres and Xavi deserve it too. From Cristiano Ronaldo to Kaka, from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Wayne Rooney, everyone is in the running.
"Iniesta is missing and I don't understand why. He is a genius."

Kuyt is a hard work. A good grafter for the squad. As a finisher i dont know but hell yeah having a player that works his socks off is better than a lazy useless git like ronaldo. :D

all his hard work is paying off very well now and surely making his critics, such as me, take back my words about not wanting him in the team.

I am really pleased that the hard work of Kuyteeeee  is beginning to pay off. A lot of his recent success is down to the fact that a lot of the other players are beginning to show similar levels of determination and effort. Lucas, Pennant and Babbel need to take note.

Hopefully even PEEWEE will see the light or is that asking for too much. Sorry PEEWEE if you have already apologised for your unfair Kuyt hate campaign. No time to go through the entire thread and a search on your name failed! Have you been banned?

He's looked :censored: hot in recent weeks. He hit the post last night and just has natural intelligence on a football pitch. Long may his good form (didn't know he was capable of it) continue.

Goal versus Tottenham looks like the old dirk. If he keeps this form, he will score goals that you thought Kuyt was not able to do, everywhere near the goal.

Easily one of our best performers so far, what a difference a bit of confidence makes, eh Mr Keane.
