Peewee, I did get your sarcasm, I don't know how to say it... somehow it's hard to believe you think Kuyt is as good of Owen or Fowler all of a sudden.

But, and this is valid for you and many others, if when Kuyt makes something well, instead of going sarky, or instead of remembering his bad games, you did appreciate he has provided more than others (like Morientes), many Kuyt defenders would find that more than enough. Coming from you, saying that he's better than Morientes would be a big praise.

sabre i think you mean he's done better than morientes for liverpool (doesnt take much really).. not actually him being a better player... because not in a million years would kuyt be a better player...
hes doing pretty well atm scoring some pretty important goals for us... hes still a sht player who is nowhere near liverpool starting 11 standard but atleast now hes playing upfront which is way better than him playing down the wing...

Yes, I meant that when I mentioned Morientes. Most of the over-defending of players comes when someone reads a player is shít, cáck, or directly is insulted.

No-one is asking to say that Kuyt is better than Berbatov, but perhaps it's fair to ask the respect Kuyt deserves. He has done better than Morientes (which is not to say much but is better than saying he's shíte), Voronin, and many others, so he doesn't really deserve to be told shíte -- nor to be told he's world class.

Scoring some pretty imprtant goals for us and pretty m uch been our best player so far this season over the course of the games he has played this season yet still :censored:

my opinion... you have yours... even if he scores 50 goals for us and gets fifa player of the year for the goals hes scored id still think hes sht player... all it takes is actually keeping an eye on him when he gets the ball... see what he makes of it...

sorry sabre but ill just say it like i see it... after all that’s what u and others do when you say hes a good player rite ?!
ill give him all the credit he deserves when he plays well and if you read my posts elsewhere ull see that i do give him credit when he does well in a game... but overall.. i think hes a pretty sht player and if he doesnt score then his attacking contribution to the team is almost non-existent if not negative..

He isn't a sh*te player, thats just underrating the fella here. He is a good player at his best, not top, not quality not world class, a good player. He has some excellent attributes and he has some lousy or average ones, unfortunately, his average attributes are more than his excellent ones.

do keep an eye on him when he has the ball - this saturday he scored two and could of got a hat trick if it wasnt for kirkland. weekend against city he got the ball and scored the winner. against psv he scored the first with the ball at his feet then went round a couple and set torres on his way for the second - do we need to keep going mentioing all the other instances when he has had the ball at his feet this season and has either created a chance or assited or scored.

I'm not, im being realistic about him. I agree with you that he shouldn't be in a title winning team, squad yes, but team no. However, he isn't a cr@p or cack player as many people say around here.

An exaggeration perhaps but certainly closer to the truth than your statement.

If we're talking seriously about a Liverpool player can we please at least make statements that can be taken seriously.

The Kuyt bashing (and I've done my share) is becoming more than tedious.
