Dirk kuyt - Peace everyone

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Why are people even seriously debating the prospect of Lennon? He's a distinctly average player with a bit of pace and can occassionally beat a man. His final ball is a joke, his passing is poor, his vision is none extistant and he doesn't even have the word defend in his vocabulary.

If he was that good, Spurs wouldn't have wasted £15,000,000 trying to replace him.

I can't believe some people actually seriously consider this lad to be anything other than average. Shocking!!!! :no

If we had lennon we would need to have a more defensive minded full back behind him.

would prob pay around 6-8 mil for him . but not sure spurs would sell.

something funny ?

do find it amazing how someone who claims to know more about football than anyone on here says pennant is the answer to our right sided problems and laughs at anyone who suggests lennon ???

I dont consider Lennon to be an intelligent player either, he doesnt have the genius of a Fowler, Owen or Torres.

Walcott is way above him in all depratments for example.

Quoting a couple of previous posts in a response you may make is quite normal, the above example is however OTT and is likely as not to be deleted without comment .

Can we quote you on that?  :D

Will your own post be deleted for containing a "russian doll" quoting technique?  :D

I read a rumour on bbc suggesting Bentley is blaming rotation for not making the England squad. And a more farcical one suggesting Owen was excluded due to form (five goals this season!) and fitness (played Newcastle's last six games!)

Capello and Bentley for Mensa too?

I can only assume you are quite young and never saw either Sammy Lee or Craig Johnston play. There is absolutely no comparioson, not an iota.

I refer you to my four points on Dirk earlier. But seek out some video footage of the two comparisons you are going with now. They aren't possibly in the Djimitar Berbatov league, but they aren't far off.

Amazon'll have some stuff, seek it out and do yourself a favour.

But the point being bigmick, that in the 80's Sammy Lee and Craig Johnston were the target of many critics that called themselves Liverpool fans.

in answer to stu, kuyt is below average as a skilful player, therefore your opinion of lennon puts him average which is better than kuyt :p
