Oh, and if Kuyt is scoring in other competitions, and Torres is banging them in in the league, who cares if it's taken him 28 matches? It all evens itself out. Kuyt is important if he's scoring in the CL, which he often does.

he loses the ball far too often. our attacks slow down. he is a great team player ive never denied that. i just feel there are better players in that position.

well of course there is better options in the world , pretty much better options to every player bar gerrarda nd torres maybe but its what is in our squad is what we have to use and its what we can afford and what we can realisticlly buy - anything else is just football manager syndrome
