That's complete bollox. How can you say the ball just bounces off him? The ball just bounced off Keane's ankle the other night, but it was a great finish all the same. You have to be in there at the right time to put things away. Rush done it for years, and so did Robbie. I never see anyone say the ball just bounced of them. Complete balls. Oh, and if Kuyt is scoring in other competitions, and Torres is banging them in in the league, who cares if it's taken him 28 matches? It all evens itself out. Kuyt is important if he's scoring in the CL, which he often does.

he loses the ball far too often. our attacks slow down. he is a great team player ive never denied that. i just feel there are better players in that position.

I've seen Torres lose the ball often. Probably more than Kuyt in games. I don't see him getting the stick for that.

GYBS - did i say in our squad?

Emerald - torres makes up for it by scoring much much more the kuyt can ever dream of

He thinks that Torres scoring 12 goals in 11 games is "ok I spose", he's not going to be impressed with Kuyt's goal ratio is he?  :D

well of course there is better options in the world , pretty much better options to every player bar gerrarda nd torres maybe but its what is in our squad is what we have to use and its what we can afford and what we can realisticlly buy - anything else is just football manager syndrome

so then perhaps the transfer window can just stay shut since we're all gonna do with what we have and dont need improvements since there is nothing we cna afford.
