At Birmingham he looked decent as they had big strapping lads who went in high or late at the bakc post.

As you said yourself our players like it to feet or in front of the defender to un on, NOT in the air.

Pennant crosses are always in the air, more often than not over every fuc.ker.

Good player he is, not a great one. But not a bad one. I'd rather have him on the right at the minute than Kuyt, who knows, Gerrard and Alonso in the middle, Riera on the left and a right winger on the right (even though fairly limited) may actually work.

Who would have thought that? To be quite honest, I was saying this years ago, but with Kewell instead of Riera, ya never know, it might actually work.

Thats your opinion Stu, not a fact mate.

However Kuyt has scored twice already this season, the same total that Pennant has scored EVER in one season (and one was not his goal by the way) and scores at least 10 per season. Pennant will NEVER score that many.

Kuyts assists are also decent, probabbly on a par with Pennants for crosses - so your only going to lose goals in the end.
