We simply don't deserve him. I'm ashamed of supporting the same team as these so called "supporters" slagging him off every chance they get.

The miss and the lack of control came in the dying minutes of a game where he probably out ran every other player on the field. Tiredness plays a factor.

Thats why we need rotation.... :D

Im immune to their pathetic insults towards an LFC player that I respect..its beyond tedious now and best ignored!

Some people are just like that,i reckon about 40% of them do it to wind others up.40% do it because they are the type of person that always moans about something in everyday life and even if they have nothing to moan about they wont be happy until they find something. And the other 20% genuinely feel he's not a good player!
Fair enough everyones entitled to their opinion regardless of being right or wrong.

I reckon he'll fu'ck most of them up this season though!
The sad reality is though that the same whingers will be moaning about something or someone else next season......Thats does be the nature of the beasts!

Scoring or setting the winner up in a game against the mancs would give anyone else cult status, nothing seems to change perceived Kuyt status. Works his socks off, plays where he's asked and does more than a lot of people give him credit for. He should be given cult status if only for Kung Fu Kuyt in the derby!

was immense yesterday ... kept hounding the united back four .... only needs to get back his sharpness in the box which he should in his first season ... all in all ..

He looked a lot more competent that Keane yesterday ! However, I will add this - it appears that both of them have a good understanding of each other's games (except for the one pass early in the first half, where Keane asked Kuyt to stop running all the time :D)

As mentioned above, with him playing in his favoured position - he will regain confidence in front of goal knowing that there is another next to him, who's trying to do the same.

they came throughout the game mate, i watched it again today and despite kuyt being part of a great team performance his first touch was still poor and his finishing could have been better, keanes finishing was even worse yesterday, his work rate as always was spot on.

anyway it seems people want to hunt me down and moan at me as usual so let them get on with it, if however they choose to read the match thread i do praise kuyt a few times, i praise him when he deserves it and i will slag him when he deserves it, as with any other player

yesterday was fantastic by the way and i came in here to have a laugh, micks post is funny but obviously he doesnt rate kuyt, but certain people hunt my posts out an hope to start an argument, bit tedious really getting called an idiot for having an opinion shared by many, maybe the idiots are the people who cant see his limitations.

ah well, rotation, noooooooooooooo

Look how Rooney played yesterday on the wing?

Kuyt should never be stuck out on the right - play him up front and things will happen.

If we consider Riera a starter for us, surely Kuyt's place is under threat - Babel should
now be out on the right.

But then that means dropping Alonso or Masch? for Gerrard?

Still dont like the fact that it's difficult to know our best 11.

So in a moment of frustration in an intense game a fan says ugly words about a player. It happens everywhere. And I wouldn't give it too much importance.

The criticism which I don't like, is the continous one, no matter who writes it. I mean if Kuyt does a decent or good game, or if he scores, don't mention he had a poor control during the game. Not that it isn't true, not that we we didn't see how he could control better, but he deserves the praise and ignoring the bad control. Why? because we do that with every other player. Alonso makes bad passes, so does Gerrard, so does Mascherano, Reina or even Carraguer!, but we don't mention their mistakes when we see he has done an overall good game.

I don't think it's bad to think he's not good enough for Liverpool, but when it comes to criticism Kuyt is always under siege, and we don't forgive him any mistake, where as we do that with other players.
