By now he should have made a statement but he's obviously sitting in his office playing solitare and thinking about his next holiday. When he was kept on it was obviously only in title as he doesn't seem to have any power to make any decisions (not that he made any decisions when he did have the power).

It's a disgrace the way our club is being run and whether the problems are real or not the silence can only mean bad news!

I don't know what Parry has ever really done. He's an incompetent f#ckwit who should have gone after the Athens ticket debacle.

maybe rafa should also for a moment think of the situation from the american's point of view .... they only bought into football few months ago ..have invested heavily in pre-season and in the past few months seen the costs of the new stadium increase by about 150m than originally estimated . is rafa doing right by continuously critisizing their transfer policy in public ? despite being repeatedly being told by the owners not to do so  ?

lets not blame the americans alone for the current fiasco ... and its unlikely they'll fire rafa........ provided he stops pulling  these stunts ..

sort it out rafa !  ur too good a manager to waste all your hard work this way !

My only problem with Rafa is that he went public.  I know its frustrating cos the Americans aint even here but going public will not make the Yanks do what he wants.

If in their eyes he is endangering their investment, he will have to go.

I keep wondering if anything like this would have happened if G&H were actually present to run the club, instead of just sending emails from the US.

prob choking on some hamburgers now , rafa cannot be blamed ? g&H have him 40 mill to spend with that money , all he can buy is a  clinical striker which cost him 26 mill , which takes up majority of the budget , don't forget that we offloaded alot of players also thus they prob only gave us abt 10 mill of their own money , if u calculate the sale of cissie and the others . 40 mill is not alot , like i was saying in the other thread , look at it when roman took over , he spent so much on chelsea just in their first season to let them rebuild the sqaud , compared to how much they spent with us , its peanuts

Liverpool FC has never sacked a manager for non-football reasons.

The future of this club is more important than the ego's of Rafa or the Yanks.

Im really alarmed at the fact that the 2 Yanks dont even bother coming over here.
How the hell can the club be run properly without the Chairmen present?

If Rafa gets the sack, I dont think I'll bother renewing my season ticket.
I will wash my hands of the club, and just watch whenever on TV.

Its not the same LFC anymore.

Isn't the bottom line that the key man, the manager, wants to discuss what he considers a highly important issue and the owners are telling him he will have to wait a fortnight? Does that sound like owners with the club's interests at heart? Whether Rafa is right or wrong they are either neglecting the importance of transfers as an issue, or simply neglecting to give Rafa the respect he deserves by discussing what he considers VERY important.

Can't imagine taggart being treated with this much disrespect

Rafa´s point of contact is Parry and Foster, not G&H.

Is that accurate? If that were the case he'd want to seem those two to discuss transfers not G & H. Clearly he cannot carry out his job without seeing G & H so his point of contact is not Parry and Foster (in this instance)

If I thought it needed a petition I'd sign, if the owners sack Rafa then the fans will let them know very quickly how they feel.

I doubt they will, but if it comes even close and the relationship is unworkable then perhaps he will have to go as it will never work. Like Jol and spudz, once they approached Ramos it was only a matter of time before they got rid of Jol
