Can't imagine taggart being treated with this much disrespect

IT is the bottom line, and the reason its the yanks who need to get it sorted.

get it signed.

If I thought it needed a petition I'd sign, if the owners sack Rafa then the fans will let them know very quickly how they feel.

I doubt they will, but if it comes even close and the relationship is unworkable then perhaps he will have to go as it will never work. Like Jol and spudz, once they approached Ramos it was only a matter of time before they got rid of Jol

It DOES want signing...

the are doing a protest march tomorrow night from the sandon and if you think for one minute that all this show of support for a gaffer who would walk through a brick wall for this club will fall on deaf ears..think again. If i could get down there meself tomorrow i would. Ticket or no f**king ticket. This fella DESERVES all the support he can get at this time.

so get em signed.

Absolutely right Red - can any of you imagine what it would be like if he gets the boot? Imagine him coming back to Anfield as manager of some other club (Let's be honest - it would be Real Madrid or Barcelona) - we'd get an absolute slapping at the hands of our greatest manager for decades.

We need to stop this rot, and tell the yanks in no uncertain terms that we, the fans, are 110% behind the boss, and if they want a fight, they've f*cking well got one.

Rafael Benitez - Liverpool manager for life.  :buttrock

Dont you think Parry and Foster must be :censored: off that Rafa is both taking it public and over their heads when this should be sorted out at Anfield.

Parry:-   "Rafa, how can I help you when you take it public and try to go direct to G&H? If you want money it has to be in the budget, the funds found and allocated and you apply for them accordingly 3 months before you believe we´ll have to pay. Now stop arsing around like Brian Clough and show some respect to our colleagues."

you really think that parry is saying that? :censored: , he wants to save his own job and thats why he has kept his mouth shut . its because of parry that we failed to get simao or alves , due to how slow he is in negotiating , he wants to save even that 1 or 2 mill extra , face it parry is the worst at his job .. The media make it seem bigger then the problem actually is

of cos he wants to get the problem solved like just the rest of us , rafa wants assurances that his job is not in jeopardy more then any of us , and thats why he does not want to address the problem in public anymore and make the media happy like drunken sailors ... They already seem intent on making the whole thing blow out of proportion making it worse than it is actually is

I wish that the author of the petition would correct some mistakes though to make it look as professional as possible

"This petition is on behalf of all those who feel that Rafael Benitez must continue as Liverpool manager with the full backing of the board"

"proceedings must be adhered to months beforehand"

"who could make a difference between finishing first and second."

How exactly is he endangering their investment?

He could have communicated his frustrations in private, but they are legitimate frustrations that demonstrate how passionate Rafa is about our club. He is eager to plan ahead, and I can't disagree with his view.

He must absolutely focus on our results in the meantime, which is exactly what he's been doing, and nothing else.

However, the club's search for new players is ongoing, it never stops. Rafa appears to have identified the need to secure deals sooner rather than later, or at the very least communicate with the owners to ascertain whether he is able to or not. There is nothing to suggest that a channel of communication has been established between the owners and Rafa - this needs sorted. It makes you wonder what Mr Parry is doing right now.
