I think if City were to drop points to Everton, it would galvanised us and I don't expect us to screw up at Selhurst Park so playing on Monday could potentially be good for us.
I have got over the lost to a tactically well set up Chelsea yesterday. If i were to tell you that we will win 11 out of our 12 games I'm sure all of us would take it without a second thought, so coming unstuck at the 12th game is no end of the world (even if it means missing out on PL on goal diff) if anything it shows that we still need to improve both on having a deeper squad and having better players all across the field, and also to learn to have a better tactical awareness when we play in CL next season. Yesterday was a day we need to sit tight and be patience, I'm sure Maurinho would settle for a easy draw and happy to go away with no additional injuries to his squad. I can't see us breaking them down even if we were to play another 90 mins so instead we should adopt a patience approach and slow down the game, instead we wanted to make a statement and came unstuck, so that's that and we learn and move forward
Whichever position we ended up, it will still be better than what most of us expected us to be back in August (I voted us coming 3rd), so the team has played better than what's expected. I will enjoy the next 2 games come what may for this is a season that make me proud of being a supporter of this club for the past 44 years. #YNWA
