Liverpool Vs Chelsea Sun April 21st KO 4PM

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby Dalglish » Wed Apr 17, 2013 7:37 pm

Can't quite believe we are 4 days away from our game against Chelsea and no ones posted a new thread ?

Sunday sees the return of Rafa Benitez and I'm sure we will give Rafa something he hasn't received for a while, namely a warm welcome   :buttrock

I have 2 spare tickets on the KOP if anyone's interested. Their in 109 under the scoreboard and it really should go without saying but their offered at face value.

I am going to the match so can meet you at before the game.

PM me if your interested.

Walk on

Ian :)

There'll be a great atmosphere, lets hope the lads bring the Rafa flags and give the 'Interim One' a warm welcome.

There's no reason why we shouldn't win unless the lads fall over the boot laces as in the last 2 games.

Come on red boys!

I'm looking forward to it, it only for the fact we will chant Rafa's name louder than his own fanbase.

Awkward...

We havent lost to Chelsea in the last 6 PL games winning 5 of them..

Suarez hasnt scored for 5 games and noone has scored in the last 2. So hopefully we can improve our killer instinct.

Sturridge coming up against his former club will be interesting and he will want to score so we could see some selfishness from him. Aslong as we are 5-0 up im happy.

They have Basel on the 25th a brillian excuse for Rafa to rest a few players I.E Mata and Hazard.

If we play like I know we can and i have seen us play we should win. However if we play like we have played in a few games we could get smashed.

Ill go 2-0 Liverpool

earlier on in the season when we had an outside chance of getting 4th i used to study the fixture list and hope we didnt have any big teams left to play.
now this damp squib of a campaign is meandering to a close i look at the fixture list and hope we are playing a big team, just to raise my interest levels.
funny old sport footy sometimes.

We will be giving Rafa the biggest and warmest welcome he has had for a while and with a handful of games left for Rafa at Chelsea I don't see it as something will give Rafa a dilemma................He will acknowledge the KOP and why shouldn't he ? He is hardly going to go down in Chavski's fans estimation !

I can see us turning them over big time. Reminds me a little of last season when we played them post FA Cup Final and battered them. They leak goals for fun, Suarez loves playing against them and Sturridge will need little motivation for this one.

3-1 Redmen and a tumultuous welcome for Rafa !

Certainly going to be a interesting match and with latest John Terry gaffe adding more to the mix cant wait for the match

I can see us bouncing back from last week scoreless draw and giving them a beating

Welcome back Rafa for another Chelsea loss at Anfield

Easy Win for the Reds. Unless Luis at Sturridge play blindfolded again.

Will you cheer Rafa today:
A. to wind chelsea fans up?
B. to wind Brendan up?
C. because you want to thank him for his achievements with us?
D. because you want him back?

Or wont you cheer him at all?

C and maybe a bit of A. B or D should definitely not be a reason.

Of course, I'll be only cheering from in front of my PC.
