All 5 games Suarez and Sturridge didn't score, we lost. The is the first time we haven't lost a game when neither of them scored.  They need to pick it up for the run in, but it's good we can win a game, away from home, against one of the hotter clubs in the league when they aren't playing well. That's a strong sign of a legitimate title contender.

Not sure if I agree with that mate. Deffo not one of our best performances. ***** Poor Officials had a massive bearing on the result.

Not that I'm complaining about the result   :D  but if truth be told we weren't at out best today. (took two penalty's to win it)

Nerve racking win, showed some real steel today against some pretty tough tactics from west ham.

Cant see anyone else playing like this against us?

Who said leave Gerrard out

True grit. Not pretty but we got through it. Some credit should be given West Ham who made this very fkg difficult. They did one of the best jobs on Suarez that I have seen all season. Having said that he almost scored two absolute worldies  :)

You can't free-score in every single game. Every now and then a game like this comes and that's where the real winners are shown and make the difference. And to be honest, even weeks ago I was saying that it's very likely that we'll lose points on this one, so it was always going to be a difficult game. The result is all that matters in these games.

Stoke or Bolton would come close. Wimbledon too, back in those days where they had Gayle, Jones, Ekoku, Holdsworth, etc.

We dug in like true champions and  delivered a wholehearted gritty performance ,Gerrard even before the  penalties would have been my star man
he gave everything and his passing was clean crisp and precise all game, easily his best defensive performance all season,I also thought Rodgers
bringing  Lucas on completely changed the game and the lad never let him down in a more attacking role his slide rule pass for Flanagan was perfect.

Sakho was immense and he allayed my initial fears with a towering performance against the battering ram that is Carroll ,so too Skrtel who was also
equally as commanding.... I think in the second half Sterling was practically unplayable linking up with our resident Uruguayan genius, and Henderson
battled strongly disrupting West Hams predictable kitchen sink throwing style of play.

Absolutely buzzing ,5 games to go and our destiny is firmly in our own hands ......  :buttrock

something needs to be done about how ***** Ref's are. for me his mistake changed the way the games was. Love west ham Liverpool games, always good, but this time the ref had too much say.

:no   :no   :no

"Dug in like true champions"  ?

Not in my opinion mate.

For the first hour we didn't impose ourselves and looked 2nd best to a mid table team, hardly the performance of "True Champions". For me we lacked drive and authority, maybe we were more afraid of dropping points instead of having the confidence that we could collect all three ?

Don't get me wrong. I know we have the quality to perform like "True Champions". I just don't think we showed it today.

We where extremely relaxed and composed, almost too much so in fact.

Not easy against a spoil team like West Ham and we found it hard but kept our heads after
suffering the blow right on half time.

Just got to keep going and I personally think that the winner of our next game will be crowned
champions and it will go a long way to deciding it.
