If , god forbid, we lose to the bluenoses they go above us.
Which considering how much they have spent on players compared to us is a disgrace.

Everton will beat us.

They show more pride, more passion and greater cohesion.

Some players need a stint in the reserves

We wont move forward until we get some better players and this is the trouble.

Dalglish has replaced deadwood with deadwood and for a hellish amount of money.

We have taken one step forward and two steps back with the re build.

I have faith Henderson will come good as he's young and being played as a winger when he's not. Carroll is still young too and won't be in his prime till he's 27/28. I think we do need to play Carroll. I actually think Downing has had a decent first season bar his diabolical stats and would keep him and see what he can do next season. Adam however is garbage, 7m ***** down the drain and needs to be moved on.

Now for what I want us to do. Well quite frankly. I'm pretty f*cking certain Suso and Sterling would of provided more creativity than our midfield against Sunderland. There are some very talented youth who should get a run out as we virtually have nothing to play for bar the FA Cup. We have 10 games or so to give the likes of Coates,Jonjo,Sterling,Suso, Robinson, Coady etc some game time. This will not only give them experience but I also believe it would give the fans and players a lift. We haven't won in ages and the kids could hardly do any worse. These lot battered an experienced Everton ressies side containing the likes of Jagielka,Osman, Rodwell,Barkely, Anichebe. So play the kids!!!

i dont think they will play the likes of sterling and suso in this current environment especially when there`s such a cloud of despondency hanging over the club, everyone is p#ssed off with our league form and everyone is hoping that the young lads will come into the side and almost salvage a terrible campaign by giving us a bit of hope for the future.
but i think kenny`s mindset will be that it`s not fair to expect lads who havent even played in a league game yet to salvage something from the season, the senior pro`s have got us in this position it`s up to them to get us out of it.
if we go on a good run of results they might get a few minutes on the pitch here and there but i dont expect them to feature much.
because they are talented young players there is always going to be a certain level of expectation surrounding them but i think kenny will try to keep that expectation at a minimum, throwing them in to try and give the fanbase a lift isnt keeping expectations to a minimum.

I have no problem with Dalglish playing youngsters, we've got nothing to lose by playing them. We've won 2 matches in 11, 3 defeats in the league in a row, I doubt Sterling, Wisdom & co will do much worse and they'd probably offer a lot more commitment and enthusiasm than some of the senior players.

Have been thinking the same thing on some of the youth lads for a while now. I can't see the harm in giving a couple of the lads some experience in the squad over the last ten games in the league. They don't have to play a great deal, 10-15 minutes at the end of a few games could be very beneficial going into the off-season and into next year. Personally I don't think Wisom is ready (I don;t rate him as highly as some) but young Sterling and Suso (who has really foudn his form the past 3 months since switching to right wing) could come in and hold their own I think.

i agree but i dont think the likes of kenny and clarke will see it that way, every red you speak to is saying give suso and sterling a run out and i dont think kenny will play them when there`s so much talk and expectation amongst the fans surrounding them.
me personally i think we`ve been over cautious when it comes to giving young players a chance, especially flair players and forwards, i remember pacheco coming on in one european game i was at and he totally changed the game, he even set up a goal, i thought to myself this lad is going to be great and i dont think i ever saw him again in a red shirt.

The thing is, I'd much rather it was this season than next. Next season they'll most likely get a few minutes in the Europa League. I know you're saying it's not ideal to play the kids now, well I think it is. We have nothing to play for, literally. We don't have to field the kids in the FA Cup. But throwing them on some matches with 20 minutes to go isn't a bad thing. Sterling and Suso could contribute more than Downing who hasn't score a goal or gained an assist all season. Next season will be more important than this one and we don't want to be throwing kids in then. Right now we have nothing to play for, we're in terrible form, can't score for Sh*t and the kids would surely try their best and actually try something. Again Suso,Sterling,Adorjan and Ecclestone gave the likes of Jagielka a tough time, who is an experienced defender. Fans are much more likely to applaud the efforts of the youngster even if they mess up in a pass as they'll know it's about experience. It's a shame Teixeira isn't fit yet as Comolli said he would give Kenny something to think about.

i`d play them myself mate and i agree with what you say but i just think dalglish and clarke wont put them in while the team is playing poorly just in case there is some expectation from the fans that the lads could improve the side, i think kennys view is that the lads are there to learn their trade not lift the club.
as you say though there will never be a better time to give them a run out.

The best result we can get against Everton is a draw and that would be a great relief. With the way we're playing, we deserve to get beat again. Actually, I knew after watching the Carling Cup final, our season is doomed. Though we won the cup, I noticed that our finishing is ***** and we struggled against a championship side, there was no way we would finish 4th I said to myself and unfortunately Liverpool have gone beyond that and looks like 7th place finish will be hard. Oh dear, this is bringing back the nightmares of the Hodgson tenure all over again. Looks like KD is no saviour.

One of major root problems, other than those dud British signings, KD no longer has what it takes etc which I can go on and on...,  I would say, our owners are not rich enough. Yes, I thank them for clearing our debt problem BUT they are poor compare to the owners of City, Chelsea and PSG who will sign Suarez in the summer when we'll finish around 10th place. Football today is ALL ABOUT MULTI TRILLIONAIRE OWNERS AND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and currently we don't have both.

If FSG wants to get us back to the glory days, they MUST help to sell us to some oil rich Arab multi billionaire as a first step. If we continue with the current 'poor' owners, we are going no where and we'll become a permanent mid table side. So our root problem IMO,  is that our owners are not rich enough.

I really think if we replace Adam say with Henderson or Jonjo it will benefit the team. Adam is f*cking awful currently and I don't think he'll ever be good enough for LFC and he's certainly not the future in midfield. With Hendo in his most suited position or Jonjo who actually has the vision and confidence to pass forward we'll have a lot better performance. With Adam in midfield we are slow, have no balance and do not play pass and move football because of his hollywood passes. And if we put Hendo in the middle we could put someone like Maxi on the wings, to suit the team. This Adam experiment has failed and he's just not at the standards LFC want.

It took you several months to figure out our finishing is below par this season? You can't have been watching many games prior to the Carling Cup Final.
