i said to a certain extent.

e.g. Baros could play on the wing if needed, Roy Keane has played centre half for Manure, Reyes can play wing or up front. Pongolle on the wing and so on.

The thing is, Houllier wouldn't have put Biscan there if he didn't think he could play there.

I'm not a big Igor fan,but he has certainly played a big part this season and done reasonably well.

me too, Biscan has really found some form this season but essentially it's too little too late. Be sad for him to go but probably better for both parties in the long run i guess...as long as he doesn't go on a free! :glare:

I really hope he could play every position on the team including being a GK. So, he would left the club with a unique memory as being a true cult hero for LFC.

unlike some players....Biscan does give 110%...even if the ability isn't there the will to win is! A moral example for the likes of Kewell and a few others me thinks...

alas, i can't see many managers willing to pay inorder to get hold of mighty iiigggooorrr, a few weeks early. sad fact is, 5.5 million he cost, zero pounds we'll get back :glare:

is it rafa not rating biscan, or him wanting out??

well, he's getting a fair share of the pie this season and has performed well enough in most of them, thorign in a few decent surprises along the way.

from rafa's point of view, given that we are not likely to get much $$ for players, why not keep him as a squad player?

from biscan's point of view, it doesn't hurt staying in a team challenging for the epl crown in 2 years! what's more, rafa has never asked him to play in central defence!

sign a two year contract igor!

I hated Igor but now he his showing us the type of player he can be. He should stay cos he can give the team something during the course of a season. All these injuries and people leaving Igor needs to stay

Smicer, Bican and maybe Hamman will go on Free transfers in the summer, all their contracts are up and none have been offered new deals.....Hamman might stay but until he signs a deal, who knows!

Kewell.....well nobody knows, only Rafa and he isn't saying!

Igor isn't a bad player but I think he'd benifit more at another club, maybe a midtable one where he'll get more first team action
