just saw the highlights... he was back to the monster form he had at blackburn before
his first coming to LFC.
he has the desire and the heart to succeed at LFC.
starts him over Carroll, with Suarez, Kyut we be playing flowing pass and move football.

The ting that impressed (and surprised) me the most was his work rate and energy towards the end of the game. He was full of running until the final whistle and his movement of the ball was delightful. Im sure Suarez would much rather have him playing supporting him than both Kuyt and Carroll which is likely to give Kenny a bit of a headache in terms of selections (hopefully).

With Kuyt down the right and Maxi/Gerrard roaming this quartet is probably the strongest attacking lineup we could put out there. Even without someone creating from deeper or running the ball to dangerous areas their ability to keep possession and create chances in tight areas gives us a good combination of balance and flair.

Something like this would be a dream lineup.

          Gerrard    Lucas
Kuyt            Bellamy       Downing(Maxi)
                  Suarez

Carroll will turn to drinking full-time if Bellamy takes his spot permanently :p

Bellers is 32 years old and knows his  top flight playing career will be over within 4 years at the very most. So I am sure his attitude and determination to shine will be much better than his younger days. He will be an asset for Liverpool not only in our attacking department but also as a good role model for the younger lads esp. Carroll.

Great today.  Wouldn't mind seeing him with Suarez and Carroll in a 4-3-3.

Who does Ballamy replace on the starting lineup?
If he can play the right field then it's a no brainer but if it's on the left then i wouldn't put him instead of downing.

Replacing him with Carrol would also be a mistake as craig is more effective as a 2nd line striker coming from behind.

But the guy with his current form deserves to start.

Wouldnt take much to dislodge Downing on current form. Think the price tags keeping him in the team but you wonder for how much longer after Hendo was eventually removed today. If Bellamy continues to impress I dont think it will be too long before he nabs Downings berth unless he shapes it. You get to a point where you cant ignore it and have to make the switch.
