"He put in a transfer request and I'm sure Kenny and Damien (Comolli) thought if he's going to be unhappy and doesn't want to be here then it was better to move him on.

"It was probably the right decision and we got good money back for him."

"And that kunt got me sent off at Old Trafford," Gerrard was heard to mutter as he walked away.

At 32 he's probably past his prime and I was shocked Liverpool re-signed him since he didn't make much of an impact at his first spell when he was younger. Anyway, his contract is only for 2 years and he would best be used as a super sub in the last 30 or so minutes remaining to turn the game around.

he's on a 1 year deal, with a 2nd year option if he plays enough games.

Well I hope he starts against the Scum at OT, and inconspicuously smuggles a golf club onto the pitch....just when the ref turns his back, he smacks a 4 iron into multiple Scum defenders, and hoofs away from the carnage....just hope he's still quick enough to get away with it

He will see more time than N'gog, he's more versatile.  It goes with the theme of the club, which is to get as much British talent in as possible.

In all seriousness, one of my fondest memories of Bellamy in red shirt was his performance at OT.  Ran Vidic fookin' ragged that day.   :nod

He did for City as well against United. It was the match United once again arranged for the referee to play a ludicrous amount of injury time allowing united to get the winner. You all remember that one, the excuses were the time added were for celebrations etc for when city scored, but they were not taken into account when united scored the winning goal.

Christ I sound bitter. My point being, Bellamy enjoys getting the best of united.

When asked about Craig Bellamy's rep as a volatile character. Dalglish replies, "I don't think it'll be a problem; he's given up golf! #LFC

I think he will be involved in most games. Seen the pics on Twitter of the lads training. Bellamy and Gerrard training amongst the lads. Must be a great place to be at the moment.
