The one thing that makes me happiest about Kenny being in there is that he will not waste the clubs money.

He will not fall into the trap that every manager has since he left... He has taken the squad as is and has made it into a competetive force already. He only needs to improve it, the basis of a championship winning side is already there. He will only bring in the best players who will improve on what is already there. Past managers have filled the squad with mediocre players, too many signings for not enough gain. Some of these will go but there will not be the mass exodus some are talking about.

This summer will be different. I honestly think Kenny will only sign 4 players or less. But they will all be class acts, all of them. And they will all be exciting and we will all see that and there will be no debate! for once every signing will have total backing! how much of a novelty is that going to be!!!

I cant wait.. I have never looked forward to an off season so much.

some of my family live in tiptree just outside ipswich, they have been life long members and are not very happy that there young star is being hunted down by big clubs, we are not the only ones that have taken a look at him.

In some rumor today I read that Kenny is gonna be given 50mil and that he is after that German lad Marko Marin. Good player IMO. If that's 50mil plus player sales then we are laughing.

I know we say it every season but i honestly can't wait for the start of next season, With Kenny you know we will sign flair players that excite the crowd (like David Speedy

It will be different this summer. Previously we always had a fixed budget that was small to say the least, so to spunk 5-10mil on a youngster, especially an English youngster would have been difficult as we always had to worry about replacing whoever from the 1st 11 was on his way out. We lost out to Wilshire or I think Ramsey that way.

But now we have money and if Kenny and Damien identify someone young and promising then we will get them. Henry has already said he wants us to be a young side.

Its the only way to get continued success... invest in youth now as well as getting the worldies in. I hate to say it, but thats how fergie keeps manure on top and has done for 20 odd years.

Hes a great dribbler and has pace to burn but he is soooo lightweight. He gets blown over by a gust of wind. I watched Bremen vs Wolfsburg a couple off weeks back and he was on the ground more than he was on his feet. The lad would need to spend about a year in a weights room before coming anywhere near the premier league.

It can be done. Luis Garcia was pretty lightweight when he first came., Lucas too.
