Bale is overrated. If I find a club like ourselves, a person like Kenny Dalglish spending a ridiculous amount to ensure we get him, I will be as miffed as when we spent 20m on Keane and 17m on Johnson.

We spent 35M on Carroll.  Miffed?

I'll wait and see but he has not shown he is worth 35 mill so far.

Bale has not been that great this season except for a couple of matches.

Only because hes been injuried mate give him a chance. Hes probally the best target man in the world (show me a better one) and will get you 20+ goals as eason aswell also hes only 22 so we will make are money back through the years with him. Like United did with Ferdinand when everyone was talking about how much they blew on him.

I think the priorities our  LB, CD, RW/SS, 1 LW/SS, CM after that i would say CD, F, AM

I generally dont know what to expect this season as the owners could bring in 4 30m+ players like Bale and sell half the squad or we could just bring in afew classy understated players like Adams and get rid of afew non entities. So ill just through afew of my faves id like to see at Liverpool some Marquee some bargains some youngsters

LB: Coentrao, Cissokho, Baines, Enrique
CD: Subotic, Sakho, Cahill, Kjaer, Jones
CM/AM: M'Villa, DeFour, Gotze, Banega, Adams, McCarhty, Kovacic
W/SS: Sanchez, Bale, Hazard, Turan, Young, Dzsudzack, Chamberlain
F/SS: Aguero, Lukaku, Wickham, Castaignos, Wolfswinkel

the only ones kenny has shown intrest in is Bale and Connor Wickham the u21 player. I take it thats the same Wickham that Pablois on about.

in my view we will get two big names but most of the players i think will be British.

Although I'm not on the same page in regards to Enrique, i agree with the rest.

I've said it before, I'll say it 15 more times... I've wanted Mata for years.  If our only signing over 10mil was Mata, honestly I'd be happy.  Hoping for Baines, Cahill, Mata, Young and maybe one more big signing.  That would just send me over the moon.. But realistically if we got 2 of those players then we would have to be really happy with our summer, especially now that it seems Reina is here to stay.  Johnson works at LB, or Robinson or Flanno.  We are completely covered at RB now.  If Agger could stay fit, plus Carra and Skrtel and Kelly, we actually have a set defense.  I'm not saying it's great, but it would be good enough to get us into CL if our attack was improved.  We sign Mata and Young and our attack is the most feared in the prem, bar none.  We get Cahill and Baines, Both who score a decent amount for defenders and Baines who got over 10 assists this season... We will have way more goals than anybody in the league, no doubt about that.

Just to throw one different one in... always on the bench for his club, just got fit again after a lot if injury worries and it has not gone right at all since joining Madrid..

Not really going to happen but he may be available at a knock down price...
