I'm somewhat starting to change my mind on Agger.. Wow that was fast  :D

I still think he's a top quality CB, but if we can get a decent offer for him, we should probably sell him.  Just not to anybody in the prem because I have a feeling he would have the best season of his career if we did- no injuries, 5 or 6 goals and some assists playing a Gary Cahill type of defense.

Too injury prone another Aurelio I'm afraid and it looks like his best days fitness wise are behind him.

Agger reminds me of Van Persie, legs made of glass.

wow... Agger's injuries are ruining his career.... I still won't sell him though... he's shown his loyalty outwardly and he's a top talent... we should be loyal to him too... He's still young, hopefully he'll grow out of his injuries soon just like Gerrard did...

Of course hes shown his loyalty, who wouldnt being on a massive wage and spending almost there entire time in the treatment room?

Agger = Kewell

two very talented players that spend their time in the treatment room, such a shame :(

How much is he earning? Compared to the mancs, Chelsea and city... Our player's wages are quite reasonable...

I really like Agger and really respect him.  I don't think we should sell him for 4 million pounds.  Anything more than 7 or 8 tho... We'd probably need to take that.  It would only make sense.  It would pay for half of his back up who could play as well as he does, but more than twice as much.

I'll always respect Agger for what he's done here tho and I love the guy, but I think it's time.

He should try the Italian league if I'm honest.. Aqua is extremely injury prone and he's been fine there.  It's much less physically demanding and his body could probably handle it better.

Didn't you read what John Henry said? we have one of the highest wage payroll in the league.

not more than Chelsea and Man City though, but very high

Yeah I read that, players like Degen on £55,000 a week, absolutely unbelievable. Considering we didnt have much to actually spend on players, the wages are ridiculous.
