I cant bring myself to hate Torres like most on here. He was a fantastic player for us while here, and we got a lot of money for him when he left.

Players come and go, i prefer to focus on the club and the players that are here now.

im gonna go out with my mate to watch the match soon Misty. hoping to see us kick the life out of Cheatski. i hope the players concentrate on the game and treat Ladyboy just like any other opponent they are coming up against.

Carragher comes in for Sotirios Kyrgiakos as part of a three-man centre-back line. Luis Suarez, meanwhile, once again starts from the bench.

I feel gutted Torres has gone. (But he hadn't been happy for ages). Am disappointed that we didn't mean more to him, because while he was with us he was adored. (Would'av posted in the Torres thread but it is locked.)

Glad Dalgleish is at the helm once again! but I can't be enthused bout this game.....wish nando's debut wasn't against us.

be difficult to get the 3 points i feel.

our problem will be getting run over in midfield.

they will prob have....malouda, lampard, kalou etc. and we will have gerrard, lucas, maxi, etc

a draw i hope.

Not even close. Torres wanted to leave, handed in a transfer request and was completely disrespectful to the club ever since.

Carroll was basically forced out by the owner. He didn't want to leave Newcastle and when he had to, he showed a lot of respect for his old club and focused on his career at Liverpool as well. A very class thing to do.
