Well I guess we are expecting too much from these modern day footballers... Del Piero stayed with Juventus when they were relegated but I guess those kind of players are very rare these days and Liverpool is not Torres' boyhood team anyway. I wonder whether Gerrard would stick around if we were relegated. I very much doubt so. Anyway... Torres was my hero and now he's not anymore... but I guess I don't have any ill-wills besides hoping Chelsea won't win any trophies. He has shown that he's a modern day professional footballer and his loyalty doesn't lie anywhere... I am extremely disappointed but life goes on... I'm just glad that Kenny is at the helm when we lost Torres... He has the strength of character and a track record in signing young promising players anf fulfilling their potential (shearer).

P.S. Even though Hicks and Gillett screwed up the club his criticism of the club for selling Xabi and Mascherano were extremely unfair. Rafa attempted to keep Xabi, but his mind was made up, and Mascherano acted like a tit and refused to play against Man City...

Agree on the Masch thing, but not on the Xabi, Rafa went to buy Barry to replace Alonso, Alonso had his mind made up for him, WHEN the Barry deal fell through, thats when he tried to keep him.

why does he NEED to play in the ECL? what about other players who keep on going for their clubs who sometimes dont even qualify for Europe?

i dont buy the whole owners thing either. they are just an easy target to lay the blame on and evade some negativity from himself.

the game will turn once we go down to ten men......oh yes forgot to say that one of our players will get sent off in the first ten mins for snapping torres legs.

we will them block and sit back before getting the the only goal and win 0-1

ok, going to be a very hard game for us. i would take 1-1 but i hope we win 1-3

We shouldn't hate Torres so much for his departure. I don't blame him for leaving but the timing was a blow to Lvp. But isn't A.Carroll doing a Torres at Newcastle when he left his hometown club for Lvp at the last minute? I'd say he is the Torres of Newcastle.

I'm told that the best ones are Sopcast, but you can find something decent without the sopcast software, or what ever it is you need.
