HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP !

Probably no one better wants to come to come here so they are offering the job to a journey man who is also a yes man, who wont stand up to the Yanks and be sympathetic about selling Torres, Gerrard and Co.

Hey look on the brightside Zar atleast he will keep us up  :shifty

This appointment will be a disaster its a fecking disgrace to even be considering him, what a shambles of a club they sack the manager and dont have anyone better lined up. Im not suprised this is the New LFC Way !!!!

Ill give it until the end of September and it will be Woy OUT !!!
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

This wonderful world class manager that everyones raving about has won 4 away games in the last two seasons in the premier league.

His name is Roy Hodgeson  :no

Nobody has raved about him though, but we are prepared to give whoever comes in a chance.

Also how many away games did we win last season ?

I assume saint will be happy. He could see that we were going nowhere and fast with Rafa.

Who knows what will happen now, i prefer to try and remain upbeat like Lee J was saying yesterday.

Lets see what happens regardless of who comes in, performances and results cant get much worse than last season.

I am going to support Hodgson if he comes but I am not expecting much from him anyway as other factoirs than him decides how next season will pan out.

Owners staying/leeaving and players leaving/staying will decide if we are a top 4 team or a top 10 team, not the new manager.

Not many ben, but he has won 4 away games in two seasons, thats a terrible record. The season before we lost just two, no one can deny Rafa made a pigs ear of it last season, and apart from Mash & Reina the whole entire team where a disgrace and they played a major roll in our downfall they stunk the joint out.

I dont like O'neill and dont want him near our club, but even he is a better manager than Hodgeson, Pellegrini is interested in the job so is Sven who are better than Hodgeson.

I cant get my head around it, if you sack a manager you get someone better in and theres no way on earth hodgeson is better than Rafa no way.

Pellegrini
Van Gaal
Jol
Rijkaard

Would be better than Roy.

But we expect better than 7th and getting battered in an easyish champions league group.
And then knocked out of the FA cup at home to Reading.

Well some of those so called realistic fans were beating the anti rafa drum on here long before all those events became a reality.
Well he is has gone now and you will im afraid be getting a real dose of reality.

And I thought supporting the pool through the 90s was depressing enough, least we had God to cheer us up then

So these fans obviously spotted the weaknesses and the need for change earlier than others.
I had my dose of reality last season mate.
Onwards and upwards now.

We won't even get off the ground Ben ???  the financial restraints will be tantamount to wearing concrete boots I seriously doubt  we could stifle a jump, let alone soar back to the Heady heights of fourth .............. especially given the quality of manager we are   looking at (albeit that is besides Kenny )   ???

How do you know though ?

I know things seem terrible but just wait and see what happens.

Listen Ben nobody knows what the future holds, we can only surmise  at what it has in store ,I am just being as pessimistic as possible during the new managers forthcoming tenure ,as when in the past I have been brimming with optimism all to regularly I have been accused of wearing rose  tinted glassed ,so I will be as doubting as possible because any other emotion will only give rise to false hope
In truth with Benitez gone and the loathsome owners still in attendance and still holding sway ,I honestly despair over the future of this once wonderful Club
