So these fans obviously spotted the weaknesses and the need for change earlier than others.
I had my dose of reality last season mate.
Onwards and upwards now.

We won't even get off the ground Ben   the financial restraints will be tantamount to wearing concrete boots I seriously doubt  we could stifle a jump, let alone soar back to the Heady heights of fourth .............. especially given the quality of manager we are   looking at (albeit that is besides Kenny )   

So all this bleating about the 'antis' getting what they 'wanted' and 'see what happens now' is irrelevent because if the owners want to sell of the family silver (what's left of it) they will. With or without Rafa Benitez.

I would slightly rephrase that Scott I believe the owners have made it a lot easier to strip us of our most saleable assets ,now they have rid themselves of their biggest and most iconic obstacle the obstacle in question being the manager of course

I'm afraid in the face of reality these inspiring words sound empty, when Hodegson is the height of the names being linked with the 'Anfield hot seat' - we walk alone mateys.. in the abyss

Also how many away games did we win last season ?

Not many ben, but he has won 4 away games in two seasons, thats a terrible record. The season before we lost just two, no one can deny Rafa made a pigs ear of it last season, and apart from Mash & Reina the whole entire team where a disgrace and they played a major roll in our downfall they stunk the joint out.

I dont like O'neill and dont want him near our club, but even he is a better manager than Hodgeson, Pellegrini is interested in the job so is Sven who are better than Hodgeson.

I cant get my head around it, if you sack a manager you get someone better in and theres no way on earth hodgeson is better than Rafa no way.

All those would want plenty to spend. We are skint.  Bringing them in would be as good as handing them their compensation pay now.

You would think that Woy has been given the job! 

He may well do, but lets not cry over milk that has not been spilt yet.

I havent got a problem with how much Rafa had to spend and even how he spent it.

I do think he played players out of position, was too stubborn ever to change his ways when they where clearly failing, would set up the team with Ngog instead of Torres and Lucas instead of Alonso even though EVERYONE could see they could not play those roles, didnt play Aquilani even when he was fir after spending £20 mill on him, would not change things in games when they where not working.

All these things where under his control, not the owners, yet he did not address them.

That is why I wanted Rafa out.

Now I want the owners out.

If a manager comes in and plays our players in the right positions and does a bit of motivation, our fisrt 11 is not that bad.. it has just been underperforming..

I still beleive in the words of You'll Never Walk Alone - as did Shanks, Bob, Joe and the rest of the men that made this club great.  We dont only sing it in the good times.. in fact we should be singing it louder and prouder now when our club needs it.

C'mon people - This is Anfield - This is Liverpool - This is our club!
