Asolutly stark.

My list of 4 would be in this order.

Lippi -Italian
Van Geal - Dutch
Florres -Spanish
Rikaard -Dutch

Hiddink has ruled himself out thats why hes not in ther

Like the sound of that.

Holloway no thaks. I don't think it would go down too well to replace a champions league winning manager with a championship manager.

I just have a feeling we wont take on a foreign manager this time around because they will want someone who can settle in quickly and not present any communication problems. Good communication is vital under the circumstances and I think this is one area of the job Benitez never quite got to grips with, particularly the media side.

I know this won't be a popular choice but I really like Harry Redknapp. If you look at what he has done at Spurs in 18 months, its a miracle.  Whenhe took over they were in the drop zone and this year they ended up 4th.

He knows the Premiership, he knows all the other teams, he knows most of our players already and he has had good sucess in the tranfer market. (Althogh apparently some dodgy deals!)

Kenny Dalglish is a personal friend after he brought Jamie to Liverpool and I'm sure Jamie would tell his dad that Liverpool is the greatest club in the world.

I really think a british manager would understand our history and I think Harry would respectour traditions.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Do you really think Levy is going to let Liverpool's hierachy near Redknapp after what happened when Robbie Keane left Spurs for Liverpool?

I don't dispute what you're saying about Redknapp but I can't see it happening and I doubt he'd want to go to Anfield particularly in view of his past comments about foreign owners telling coaches what teams to pick etc.

Here's a shock name though who might be in with a chance - Chris Hughton?

He must have managed in the premiership, remember how long it took Benitez to understand this league with his constant rotation etc.

I'd go with Roy Hodgeson, experienced, knows this league, plays good football, international experience. His only flaw is the blackburn job when they were champions.

Hodgesen should be the last resort. We need to draw up alist of continental managers first and try them. If none of them workout then if Hodgsen is interested then go with him.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere Harry has only got 1 year left on his contract, so if he wanted to come the compensation wouldn't be that high either!

Im sure he is probably in negotiations with Levy now as we speak.

Still though I don't see why he would leave a team that is already in good shape and in the CL to come to us.

We need a lot more work done before we can even thinking about top 4 again and there is no guarantee he would have that sustained support from the board.
