im glad hes goin, didnt lke the way he had the team playin, and didnt lik alot of the signings he made, only down side is that we stil hav the owners, so the new manager wil hav to take wat rafa has, but if u take in the signings rafa made n some of the dung thats in the squad, we can only blame him in the case of the new manager havin no money to strengthen the team........ good move i say, 1 down 2 to go.

A make shift manager who isn't good enough, an anti-climax in the transfer window where we sign Kevin Betsy for £1.50 from Wycombe, disappointment in all major competitions, a mid table finish and the prospect of our key players leaving if we have another nightmare season, that's if they don't leave this summer.

I'm looking forward to next season, I cannot wait.

Its sh!te like this that bigmick went on about.

Lets just see what happens eh ?

Plus point for me, we have got rid of one of the things that was holding us back last season.
Now for the owners.

Exept he was being sarcastic when he was banging on about it.

because loads of people called him negative.

and he was reading rubbish like..

no manager will come to liverpool
no players will come to liverpool
best we can hope for is europa league
rafa has done all he could
we are comepting against teams with too much money

then he replied saying he thought we had good players and would be able to compete, but was accused of being a moaner and anti etc etc etc.

He is spot on, we will compete with a different manager, lets be honest it wouldnt take much for someone to improve on what we witnessed last season would it ?

What rubbish about any of that? How the f*ck is any of that rubbish when we don't have a pot to p*ss in and have a proported transfere budget of 5 million? Get it through your f*cking heads! We're being skinned alive from the inside out. We're being drip bled, slowly. We have a team of administrators running us. What's that say? Yes, we are in f*cking administration all but officially. Shocking, yeah, I know. But that's the reality of this club.

Emerald mate, I notice in your posts you never actual mention the football we play, just the behind the scenes problems

Hate to break it to you, but the football we played last season was a direct result for a couple of things that are not laid soley at the managers feet as some would have it. Oh, and just because we had one :censored: season playing dull stuff, it doesn't mean I'm going to scrub my memory of the previous years now is it? What is going on behind the scenes is everything and I've been saying that mid way through last year. "But our football is shyte. Sack the manager". It's like putting new deck chairs on the Titanic.

One thing is certain, before the club is sold we will NOT be challenging for anything.

So what do you put down Manure's loss vs League 1 opposition to?

And it is only Rafa who has lost vs teams at the lower half of the table?

Burnely didn't spank Manure and Wigan didn't beat Chelski?
How could that have happened following your reasoning?

It is the money invested=squad depth that determine how often those losses occur.

Because it seems that while we have these owners the fact that the manager is making a pigsear of the job of managing the team and getting results is irrelevant.

He stands up to the owners apparantly.
Well while he drags us down hill with results he is also a problem that needs sorting out.

Hopefully this has been done.

Do you think everything at a football club hinges at the manager? Remember this: sh*t rolls downhill.

Very true, one bad season and we sack the manager, it's absolutely disgraceful but that's the way modern football is, players and managers have very short shelf lifes. Though if anyone thinks next season will see an improvement then I'll have whatever you are taking (except if it is meow, moew), because next season will be a continuation of last season albeit with one less stable structure at the club.

No i dont.

But i dont think Hicks and Gilette told him what tactics to play and recommended he sign Aquilani then never play him.

Tony barrett new manager will only be employed on a short term basis.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

I put it down to playing Ngog up on his own all season when he is clearly not good enough even though we have Kuyt and babel who both could have done better.

I put it down to playing Lucas all season when he could have played Gerrard and Mascha in the middle, which would aguably be the strongest central pairing in the premiership

I put it down to playing £20 mill for a playe and then not playing him even when he is fit

I put it down to never changing the way we play so EVERY one knew exactly how to set up against us

I have more reasons but I think that is enough for now![I]
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

What worse than 7th, early exists from all championships, and incredibly naive boring football. Oh dear that doesn't sound too good does it :-(
