If it was mid season then there would be need for a short term manager but we are about to go into a world cup. We need a full time manager now so we can press ahead with transfers...

But then I am an optimist.  :D

No just another f*cking root

Hmm I wonder what words are best to describe you? Any suggestions anybody?  :D

Who would you like to see as our next manager?

Someone who the players will try for. We got a squad that wont go for the title, but should be wining a lot of games we just werent winning with Rafa in charge. We have a team that should be playing exciting football...

A make shift manager who isn't good enough, an anti-climax in the transfer window where we sign Kevin Betsy for £1.50 from Wycombe, disappointment in all major competitions, a mid table finish and the prospect of our key players leaving if we have another nightmare season, that's if they don't leave this summer.

I'm looking forward to next season, I cannot wait.

Its sh!te like this that bigmick went on about.

Lets just see what happens eh ?

Plus point for me, we have got rid of one of the things that was holding us back last season.
Now for the owners.

Exept he was being sarcastic when he was banging on about it.

because loads of people called him negative.

and he was reading rubbish like..

no manager will come to liverpool
no players will come to liverpool
best we can hope for is europa league
rafa has done all he could
we are comepting against teams with too much money

then he replied saying he thought we had good players and would be able to compete, but was accused of being a moaner and anti etc etc etc.

He is spot on, we will compete with a different manager, lets be honest it wouldnt take much for someone to improve on what we witnessed last season would it ?

What rubbish about any of that? How the f*ck is any of that rubbish when we don't have a pot to p*ss in and have a proported transfere budget of 5 million? Get it through your f*cking heads! We're being skinned alive from the inside out. We're being drip bled, slowly. We have a team of administrators running us. What's that say? Yes, we are in f*cking administration all but officially. Shocking, yeah, I know. But that's the reality of this club.

Well, this is the part that remains to be seen so I wish people would take Scottbot's cue and consider it a possible scenario rather than an ironclad fact.  We'll simply have to wait and see how things shake out and I hate reading how clueless people are who don't immediately jump to the conclusion that Rafa has been pushed out to make way for a massive clearout of playing assets.

What seems apparent is that Rafa's time is up and all that's left to sort out is the nature of the severance package.  I would think there's no way back for him at this stage and that he'll be out the door soon.  As such, I'll thank him for all he did for the club during his time--which I think was a considerable amount, both on and off the pitch.  With that said--and pushing all the speculation about boardroom motives to one side for the moment--I do think it's time that he moves on from a footballing perspective.

It's always darkest before the dawn, every cloud has a silver lining and always look on the bright side of life. At least we get rid of a manager who has lost his motivation and way, it is a step in the right direction. We can only get better and if we do loose Stevie and/or Nando then we will get money for them which will go to either buying replacements or stabilise the finances. One thing is certain, before the club is sold we will NOT be challenging for anything.

Europa League football? Sure I fully now expect Steve and Torres to f*ck off, so we'll be at home in that competition. Oh, that's right, I forgot, Rafa signed a couple of other players too. Forgot about those.

Yeah, with Rafa we woulda won everything, as we're so awesome

It's not about winning everything. We don't have the devine f*cking right to win ANYTHING, nevermind everything. The stability of this football club is paramount while these two c*nts have us in their grip. The Yanks want a yes man at the helm. They may well get that, and if they do, we're totally f*cked. Why can't any of yous even grasp the idea of that? Benitez said that if either Torres or his best players were to be sold without his say, he'd walk on the spot. If we get a manager with absolutely no balls to speak out against these two, then they'll flog who they like to refinance that loan and there's f*ck all anyone can do about it.

Just winning some of the teams in the lower half of the table would be a start.. something we always seem to struggle to do with rafa at the helm.

Just winning lower league oppostion in the FA cup would be nice as well
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Because it seems that while we have these owners the fact that the manager is making a pigsear of the job of managing the team and getting results is irrelevant.

He stands up to the owners apparantly.
Well while he drags us down hill with results he is also a problem that needs sorting out.

Hopefully this has been done.
