The manager is the only thing fighting for us as a football club within the club. He's the only person in a senior position who's primary goal is the same as ours.
With the instability we see around us, the manager staying and keeping his squad together is the best footballing option we have.
Why would it be a disaster ? It is constantly repeated by a few here and i still dont understand how it would be a disaster if he left ?
Is he helping reduce the loans ? NO
Is he making our financial situation worse ? YES
Under any owners, Rafa's dealings in the market would be regarded a waste.. His release of key AND less important staff members has cost the club a ton of money and signing replacements has no doubt done the same. Were they all necessary changes that had to be done ? Not to me.. He wanted things done his way because he thought it would ultimately lead to better performances on and off the pitch.. So far, its fair to say they have made things worse at both ends. As a fan, this is NOT what i want.. Rafa's primary goal IS NOT the same as mine.. His goal is to have things done his way.. if that doesnt work then he wants more money to give it another go and try something new.. doesnt work like that, never did and never should.
Another thing.. when you say fighting for us inside the club... what do you mean ?
As far as i can tell, the owners want out and Rafa, the players and the fans want the same.. Until a bid is made and accepted, none of the above mentioned people can do anything but try to make the best out of the situation.
Has Rafa done that ? NO
What Rafa fights for mate is what Rafa wants.. What he wants right now is more money... When the reports about Torres being sold came out his main concern was about whether he'd be given the money to spend or whether it would be used up by the owners to reduce debts... Sound like someone concerned about the club's financial stability or the players in his squad ? not to me...
The only person in a primary position with the same goals as ours ?
So you think the owners dont want THEIR club to succeed ? You think they enjoy the fact that we ended the season 7th with no CL and no CL money for next season ?
Enough with the nonsense already, they want us to succeed just as bad and we do.. They have different reasons for wanting it but make no mistake about it they want it all the same..
For as long as i remember i've been saying that the owners just want to sell the club at a profit.. They HAVe backed the manager up and have done so every season... The accounts from this season are out today if im not mistaken and it comes as no shock to me that our losses have increased and mainly due to player signings and staff contract terminations/signings...
As things stand, the owners have backed the manager up, they've provided the resources and he's fcked it up...
By all the means criticize the owners for all the wrong they've .. want them out all you will and protest against them and all that...
But FFS stop using them as an excuse for the manager whenever things start going wrong on the pitch..
Its 2 separate matters and wanting the owners out shouldnt mean that you want Rafa to stay as manager simply because he wants them out too..
What is this about the owners wanting to succeed?
Are you kidding me?
If you invest 0 money how the f*** do you as an owner excpet to succeed?
That is a one way ticket to failure no matter how you slice and dice it and it should come as no surprise as you'll end up with a club going from 4th to 7th to 10th etc.
Just hollow words to want to win but not put in a penny to make it happen.
The owners have backed Rafa?
Ffs, which closet have you been in these past 2 years Ace?
He is bringing in more money from selling players than paying out to buy players. That the owners backed Rafa 2006 and 2007 means jack all.
And where is all that tv money, CL money that the club has recieved every year Rafa has been here?
That is like 30-40 million a year at least.
Our losses increases because the owners plainly refuse to invest any money so the interest payments go up every year.
