FACT: Sunderland - Its modern day Bosnia, only with worse crime and poorer schools!

FACT: Sunderland - the women are harder than the men

FACT: Sunderland - best thing to come out of the place?  The A19 south.

Let's relive a tale from a night out in Sunderland, I've told this before but for the benefit of new members...

Had a few nights out in Sunderland. Good place to go for cheap Working Mens Club beer, then on for a kebab and a fight. Sunderland women are harder than the men. We met this lass outside the kebab shop at 3am, 'Dockyard Doris' was drunk as a skunk but still managed to muster up enough energy to shout across the road at a couple of police bobbies "awhey ya fooooking pigs!".

On our way to the taxi rank she was feeling the urge for a pee so my mate said "you wanna hand?" (meaning he'd hold her kebab while she squat at the side of a hedge) "What ya gunna do, squeeze me fooooooking head like?"
Couple of minutes later she wails "aye, a needs a sheeiite now like!" At that point we launched her kebab in her direction and ran like chuff. "arrgh ya pair a b@stads, fooooking chilli sauce on ma heeed!" Classy bird.

Any way back to the footie, we should wallop these numbheads. They haven't got a manager so lets take advantage of that and stick 7 past them.

Sturridge 2, Suarez 3, Gerrard, Moses.

AWWWEYYY!!

Id hope we can get the 3 points from this one as they have no manager. Take a 1-0 with Luis firing one

First away of the season for me. We should be too strong with Suarez back in the side. We simply can't be as wasteful as we were in the final third the other night.

Be interesting to see if we stick with three at the back.

Swansea was hard to beat and Southampton was a f*ck up that happens every now and then. No excuse for not getting the 3 points out of this one though. Nothing less but a quality performance and result is acceptable. We should be winning this one and with a fine margin as well.

If we don't win this, our CL dreams are over for another season. Realistically we should hammer this lot. Am going for a 4-0 win. Suarez. Henderson2 and Sturridge

i never like playing teams who have just lost their manager, especially when player power was allegedly involved.
according to reports quite a few players werent happy with di canio`s abrasive style and a delegation went in to see the board (who then sacked the manager).
the sunderland players may feel obliged to put a big shift in on sunday in order to show the board they made the right decision, infact if they werent seeing eye to eye with di canio they might not have been exactly running their blood to water for him either.
i suspect sunderland have a lot more `in the tank` than they`ve been showing in recent weeks and we may have to face the `real` sunderland tomorrow.
even so i still think we`ll have too much for them but we shouldnt go into this game expecting a cake walk.

I always think the Stadium of Light is a difficult place to go - very passionate fans and they make a lot of noise.  I've made the mistake of going to watch us there before and sitting in amongst them a few times!

Throw in the fact that they've recently sacked the manager and teams like that always seem to turn in a good performance in the next game, which we might be unlucky enough to be on the end of.

This is a real banana skin game and it wouldn't surprise me if we drop points, especially the way we've been playing recently.  A big performance from Suarez could turn the game our way though.  Hopefully our players will also feel they have a point to prove after successive defeats.
