Oh come on Brendan don't ruin your great subbing for this game :D. Why Carra? Would have rather seen Robinson, Sahin or if we wanted a defender, Coates.

Two goals ruled out for offside. Sunderland are p*ss poor and to think I said we'd draw 1-1.

Talk about rolling back the years. Fantastic to see this level of domination in successive games.

Hopes not up any more than before, but it is nice starting to see a few things click into place and the goals go on. Seems that the team is starting to gel and believe a little more. There was a time when we'd be struggling for a 1-0 win in these games if we were lucky. Finally we are stuffing them as we'd expect to.

Interested to see how the rest of the transfer window goes now.....

Must say our entire attacking side looked great.  Hendo, Suarez, Stevie stood out, and thought Johnson was fantastic again.  Allen came on, and that's the first time We've had Stevie deep and Allen attacking and have it work.  Would be great if we could keep that going.

Stevie is the top assister in the league now, and Suarez only 1 behind RVP with goals.

Fantastic game. We really needed these games against Sunderland and QPR to give us the confidence for the next fixtures coming because they're going to be tough.

Stevie had a good game, but there are so many little errors creeping into his game, it has cost us before this season and will cost us again, not sure whether its age or just lack of focus but he needs to sort it out and get back to his best otherwise we need to find a replacement.

We did well, but they could have scored 3 goals as well.

cant fault that performance at all, it was a great result and we completely controlled that from start to end.
1st home game of the year and its a great home win so hopefully we turn it around this year and anfield becomes a fortress again.

True but we could and possibly should have had another 3-4 goals. I think this is just how we are these days, we will concede goals but as long as we score more than they do.......  :D  :D
