Just hope Johnson will be ready. Carra as right back isn't the best solution ;)

Are you a relative of Rafa? Just wondering why you need three defenders on the bench (Skrtel, Degen and Aurelio)

Id go for a 4-4-2...

                                    Reina

Johnson          Carragher             Agger            Aurelio

Benayoun         Aquilani          Mascherano          Riera

                      Gerrard             Torres

Best lineup, mosst basic formation and setup... If Aquilani and Mascherano cant get a decent hold in midfield the starting lineup offers the manager alot of flexibility in terms of switching player positions around... I think we need to see some better attacking play from Liverpool sometime soon and this game is as good as any for Rafa to go all out and try our best players together in the same lineup... Assuming Aquilani is fully fit, i'd like to see Gerrard playing upfront alongside/slightly behind Torres like he did for most parts of last season... 4-4-2 though.. Wingers need to recieve the ball from deeper within and need to help out the fullbacks more often... The whole relying on the 2 holding midfielders to cover for our fullbacks on the counter and all that isnt quite working...

Haha - well, with our luck 2 gets injured in the match.

Nah - I just think our bench is pretty slim and Degen and Aurelio could offer something forward if needed.

We'll hammer them dead set..4-1
Johnson, Torres, Benayoun, Torres

I hope we lineup like this, providing those I mention are all fit..

               Reina
Johnson Carra Agger Aurelio
            Masch Aqua
Benayoun  Gerrard    Riera
               Torres

As I recall he wasn't on the bench, which is why I very much doubt he'll be ready to start against Pompey (maybe he'll be on the bench?). I haven't really heard anything specific about his injury though I must admit (besides Rafa mentioning him being injured along with Kelly and El Zhar).
