The point is tensions were already high as they were not to mention all the media waiting for another jizzfest over Suarez. By not shaking his hand he gave them the initiative.

There is no obligation for anyone to shake hands before a game. It's a stupid idea which means nothing and is an unnecessary addition embraced by the skysports generation of football 'fans'. Get rid of it.

He was never worth 20 mil nor was Henderson worth 16, but we all knew that before they kicked a ball for us. Why all the reaction now, when they play poorly away from home against a side who are something like 16 points ahead of us in the league? Did you expect them to be matchwinners? Perspective.

isnt Gerrard the one pushing up to support the forwards. Its what he is best at. He is just an average player the way we use him this match.
