Wow, I'm all for Brendan giving the lad a mini break because he has played a lot of footy recently but our last league game was on New Year's Day, today is the 10th, surely Raheem could have squeezed a break in there and still been available for both games?
So now we are in a position where we go into a vital league game and we've no Sturridge, no Lallana and now no Raheem because he is on holiday?

Agreed! really terrible decision ,Raheem has a nice rest missing on the cup match so why would he be granted more time off? i'm really shocked at the poor level of management displayed by BR. Can't see us winning.

The country is getting battered by high winds ATM too, if Sunderland put the ball up in the air I can see Mingolet having real problems.

Feckin Borini, can't believe Rodgers sometimes  :no

Rodgers is going to get destroyed if we lose this one, not because it's an easy fixture but because of his poor management, Sterling still on holiday, starting with Borini...

We might as well be playing with 10 men with Borini, everything through him seems to break down

Markovic has been excellent and brilliant technique for that effort that hit the woodwork. This is our game and need to try and grab a second in this half and kill this game off. Don't see Sunderland getting back into this if we score another
