i still feel its city's to lose but todays draw with arsenal should give us hope that we can be there to capitalise should they drop more points.
if we can beat these tomorrow it will have been a great weekend for us

This could be the weekend where we take control of the title. A win against Spurs and we will be the favourite for the title

Not sure about that mate. City play 5 of their last 7 games at home and they are all winnable. I think we will have to rely on beating them at home and horror of horrors hoping that Everton take some points off them. Having to rely on that possibility to win our first title of 24 years fills me with dread !!! My heart is fkd !!!  :D

Can't wait for Sunday 4pm now.

Such a massive chance for us, Doubtfull spurs will play a similar line to that of Sunderland so our forwards wont be so congested by them. Spurs naturally attacking side which suits us just fine.

3-1 LFC :)

This is the best opportunity we've had since we last won the title in 1990, we've gone fairly close on a couple of occassions but we've always been playing catch up to some degree, we have never been this far into a season and still have the outcome in our own hands.

Won't be easy as the last time this one, but I still think that we are way better than them and we should be able to beat them. We should concentrate on defending, the goals will come. If they start with Adebayor then I'd play Sakho in this one.

We'll be saying "this game is massive" almost every game between now and the end of the season!

Yeah, but we've been saying that every game is a cup final for a few games now and credit to the players for treating most of those games as such.

Anyway, I just realized that I'm going to miss tomorrow's game :glare:. First one of the season as well. Was hoping to set a personal record and finally see all the games of a season but it'll have to wait I guess.

City Drew 1-1, Chelsea Lost! 0-1.... the football gods have spoken and are clearing a path for us, all we need to do is not ***** our pants and win every game, easy :buttrock

We are not quietly confident anymore, we are in the spotlight big time and will be under massive pressure to win.

AS it stands now:

1 Chelsea 32 69
2 Liverpool 31 68
3 Man City 30 67
4 Arsenal 32 64

How it could look:

1 Liverpool 32 71
2 Chelsea 32 69
3 Man City 30 67
4 Arsenal 32 64

If we win the title most conversations about LFC can finally stop talking our history and start talking about the present and how fu_king good we are (Apart from the defence  )

This is our biggest game since those 2 CL finals under Rafa.
Infact given what's happened over the last 24 years it may even be bigger

dont care what the score is as long as we end up with 3 points.
they will be up for it seen as we tonked them at their place and will look for revenge.
for us their is added pressure because of the results yesterday but im confident that the lads know what they have to do from here on in and thats to keep on playing them cup finals.
as far as the team goes id leave it as it is
