clattenburg not giving us a thing. That shot off the crossbar had two very clear fouls ignored, one before the shot and one after. Shoves in the back on defenders in the box to win the ball are rarely ignored.

Thank god for that! Ugly 3 points, but we'll take it every time. Looked very similar to the opening game last season against Stoke.
MOTM is between Mignolet and Sterling for me. Sterling with the goal and assist, and Mignolet had 3 class saves that kept us in the game.

MOTM was clearly mark clattenburg played an absolute blinder yet again and has taken over the mantle left by howard webb
