Over on RAWK they seem to think this will be our line up today -

Mingolet, Manquillo, Lovren, Skrtel, Johnson, Henderson, Gerrard, Lucas, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge

Lucas and Gerrard in the same midfield?   That particular combination never seemed to work last season, I just hope Hendo has got his running shoes on.

id be amazed if we don't line up unchanged from the Dortmund game.

If Lucas is in over Can I can only supposed it's a injury forcing the move.

Brendan didn't mention Can's name when he was asked about injuries in his pre match press conference though mate.
Maybe the ITK's over at RAWK have got it wrong, as you say if everyone is fit he's surely got to go with the XI that started against Dortmund.

Edit - changing tack for a moment I think it might be worth mentioning that it's very windy here, hope it dies down a bit before kick off, don't want the game turning into a lottery.

Can't understand what BR is thinking with both Lucas and Gerrard in midfield. That's really risky.

Anyway, I still can't see us losing against these. They're a new team that hardly know each other while I expect our boys to be fired up. Good ref as well (for us at least ). Their manager is pretty Sh*t as well, almost ruined a very talented Valencia team a few years ago.

Buzzing. Cant wait. Really optimistic about this season.

My son woke me up at 7:15 "Daddy" the Liverpool game starts in 15 minutes!!!  Well he must have to check his iPod because it turns out he woke me up an hour early.  Have to say the coverage of LFC related stuff on NBC has been great to watch.  Very extensive interviews with Brendan and Stevie that they have just aired.  We've got 7 LFC fans here that are ready for the game ready to go on an early Sunday morning.

Johnson has started off just like he finished last season- a big pile of Sh*t.

Keeps losing the ball from trying to do too much (or from just being bad) and that shot he's just taken couldn't have missed any higher unless he took it off a golf tee.
