We need more pass and move players in the 4 most attacking positions. Carroll is too slow and static and Henderson is a central midfielder, not a right sided midfielder.

                       Reina

Kelly     Carragher     Skrtel     Enrique

                Lucas     Adam

           Maxi     Suarez     Bellamy

                       Kuyt

Subs: Carroll, Gerrard, Downing, Henderson, Johnson, Coates, Doni

Carragher and Skertel in the middle is a recipe for disaster! Hoping Coates gets introduced more soon than later and gels into the side quick.

It's important to read that Gerrard is back. He's more necessary than he ever has been, the kind of player that can make a broken machinery work again. It's possible that the posters that say he'll enter the team progresively and he might be on the bench for now, but reading he's available is a good morale boost anyway.

Good news!

Kelly            Coates                Carragher             Enrique

                          Lucas          Adam
                                Gerrard

Rodriguez/Bellamy                                           Downing

                            Suarez

Agreed. However, it is also important that the other players do not over rely on Gerrard, as has been the case in the past IMO.

In addition, I hope that the players that KK has brought into the club recently for the midfield position, can develop into the type of player that Gerrard is i.e. a leader, creative, can run at the opposition with the ball, can tackle well etc etc. That said, I think all the players should become leaders in their own right.

Come on Redmen, please Tw$t Wolves today (Bigtime).

Despite their 5-0 mauling of Millwall midweek in the league cup and a promising start to their league campaign Wolves have attained just one point from their last 3 matches scoring no goals in the process.
This is a time for us to get a morale boosting result and get us back on track. Would love to see Stevie start this alongside Lucas.

I’m sorry but I just don’t know what Kenny is doing sticking with Henderson down the right when we have Kuyt, Maxi and Bellamy.

Would have liked to see Maxi involved, at least on the bench. He had a good game midweek and links up very well with Suarez.

Henderson needs to have a good game, Carroll needs to put in a performance too.

Downing on the left i hope and sticks there, need crosses for Andy

If we where playing a better team then I can understand your concern but surely against a team like Wolves is the time to give him some more playing time to build his confidence.
If by half-time he has been mostly anonymous then we have a bench that any other club would love.

Not happy with that team and I only see us winning this by an odd goal.

For Adam, Skrtel and Henderson to just walk straight back in to the team after last week must be a bitter pill for one or two member s of the squad.

Playing him out of position isn’t going to help his confidence. He’s a central midfielder.
