Apparently we'll go with Gerrard in midfield, we just don't learn do we? Not liking that rumored line-up either. I really have a bad feeling about this, hope I'm just being paranoid.

Relax bud, have faith. We will be fine. They may cause us a few problems but we will give them even more problems. Sturridge up top completely changes our attacking capabilities and wouldn't be no surprise to see him put away a long Gerrard pass tonight

Thanks mate, that made me feel better :D

On a serious note, Spurs aren't exactly known for their strong mentality. We need to go at them right from the off and try to score early. If the game drags on too long though we might ultimately lose the battle in midfield and lose points as a result. I don't think we'll lose the game though, but a draw isn't acceptable either.

They are one of those teams that can pull out a very good performance but then follow it up with a load of rubbish. When it starts to get tough and its squeaky bum time, the melt. We need a win more than them tonight and I think that will show through. Start quick and get in their faces and I expect a pretty comfortable nights work for our lads

It's a decent team, I hope everyone's recovered from the weekend. Big match, not a must win, but would love the three points!!

Earlier on in the season when Gerrard and Hendo were screening the defence we were shipping goals like they were going out of fashion so I can't say I'm exactly over the moon with the idea of Gerrard dropping back into midfield, he just doesn't pick up runners and players breeze past him like he's not there.
I can definately see Ericsson and Dembele trying to isolate him one on one.
I think we may have to score 2 or 3 to win this one.

Sturridge is back, shouldn't be a problem. 4-1 Liverpool. Sturridge (2), Gerrard, Ibe; Kane.
