Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby ycsatbjywtbiastkamb » Sun Mar 22, 2015 6:14 pm

MINGOLET - 6 did okay but looked a bit nervy especially early on, nice penalty save though
CAN - 6 had a tough afternoon up against an awkward customer in Fellaini
SKRTEL - 6 not bad but lacked a bit of composure on the ball
SAKHO - 8 my MoM
MORENO - 4 tried hard but just never happened for him
ALLEN - 4 lost the midfield battle
HENDO - 5 as above, did work hard when we went down to 10 to be fair
STERLING - 3 didn't even look bothered
LALLANA - 5 tried to influence the game but outmuscled, should have really scored, if that goes in its a different game
COUTINHO - 7 played well in trying circumstances, works hard these days off the ball too
STURRIDGE - 6 quiet game but he did score and should have had an assist too so maybe that 6 is a bit harsh

Mingolet - 7 not a lot to do really, odd nervy moment but emerged looking cooler that a  :censored: . An extra point for guessing the right way.
Can - 5 struggled with both the occasion and feilani. he will be the better for it.
Skrtel - 7 decent game from martin but will probably get done for the foot on de gea.
Sakho - 7 good game but I'm convinced I'd at least get a hatrick if I was up against him  :D
Moreno - 4 thought he was poor.
henderson - 5 I love to run!!
allen - 6 I'd prefer if he was just exceptional at one thing rather than average at everything.
Sterling - 4 One minute he is a striker, the next a left winger and sometimes a wing back. No wonder he is all over the shop.
llama - 3 no not a spelling mistake but a proper picture of what we spent 25 million quid on and the cheek of him running his mouth off during the week about finishing above united  As if he would even know what that is like.
Coutinho - 5 works really hard but has little influence out wide.
Sturridge - 5 only because he scored. Fair enough he hasn't been getting the service but is doing little about it.

Gerrard - 0 Couldn't even give him a point, We were lacking someone who was willing to put a foot in, Literally  :D still he had to go.
Balotelli - 5 thought he was alright considering he just randomly appears every now and again. Don't blame him for the card at all as any one with a bit of blood in them would have the chest out after that.

Just a total disaster of a game for us, a no show to the point we looked like the away side. One shot on target and one goal resulting from said shot tells you all you need to know.

Mignolet - 6 - can't blame him for the goals and a good penalty save but he always goes the same way (to his right) has no one noticed this yet?
Can - 6 - struggled at times, especially against Fellaini
Skrtel - 7 - did well, can't be blamed for anything
Sakho - 7 - probably motm, won most of the duels but was left for dead by that idiot Moreno
Allen - 4 - thought he had a very poor game, he shouldn't be playing in the big games
Henderson - 6 - had a few good passes to be fair, and worked hard even when we were down to 10
Sterling - 4 - can't believe he has the decency to ask for those silly money with performances like this one
Moreno - 3 - if Gerrard didn't cost us the game it would have been this guy. Horrible game that might cost him his place in the starting 11
Lallana - 4 - poor game. Outmuscled
Coutinho - 6 - worked hard, did all he could I thought. Can't play on your own
Sturridge - 6 - no service, did alright when he had the ball

Subs:
Gerrard - 1 - it's usually N/A for just 40 seconds, but for costing us the game and probably a top 4 finish, this is the least he deserves. What was he thinking?
Balloteli - 5

Arsenal V Liverpool - 4th April '05

Mignolet - 6 - an enigma, makes 2 world class saves then makes 2 bad errors
Can - 5 - lost his head a little in this match, needs to be CM
Toure - 4 - Lovren should have played, end of
Sakho - 6 - best of a bad bunch
Allen - 4 - poor, boy playing amongst men today
Lucas - 4 - same as allen
Henderson - 4 - future captain?? please do not take anymore penalties
Moreno - 4 - at error a few times, i wish he would shoot more when in advanced positions instead of always passing it backwards
Coutinho - 6 - tried, but no space
Markovic - 5 - sell him
Sterling - 3 - 100k a week ?? first team offers 50 million let him go

Substitutes:
Sturridge - 4 - obviously not 100% hopefully will be ok for Blackburn

MINGOLET - 5 some good saves but a couple of mistakes in there too, mistakes that cost us goals.
CAN - 6 did okay I thought, his forays up the park were one of the few highlights of our performance
TOURE - 4 been out a while and it showed, all over the place defensively
SAKHO - 7 started a bit shaky but was our best defender on the day
LUCAS - 4 I think he is a top player but he was woeful today, has been out for 2 months though
HENDERSON - 5 part of a midfield that was given a footballing lesson by their Arsenal counterparts
ALLEN - 4 ditto
MORENO - 5 at fault for their first but at least he rallied in the second half, made some vital cover tackles
COUTINHO - 7 did okay considering the midfield gave him no platform to perform from
MARKOVIC - 6 terrible error but looked lively, should not have been brought off imo
STERLING - 6 did okay but when you build yourself up to be a big shot okay isn't really good enough, if you want Gerrard/Suarez type money then you have to carry teams on your shoulders just like they did.

MINGOLET - 8 MoM, kept us in the cup with a superb display of keeping
JOHNSON - 6 considering he hadn't played for a while he did well
LOVREN - 7 Has to be said he looked more comfortable against Gestede's aerial threat than Skrtel did
SAKHO - 6 hope he isn't out too long, developing into a real leader for us
HENDO - 5 did okay
MORENO - 5 much better than the weekend
LUCAS - 5 not bad, still looks a bit rusty
ALLEN - 5 did okay
STERLING - 6 looked quite lively
COUTINHO - 7 he's the best player at the club atm
STURRIDGE - 4 I suppose it's not surprising after being out so long but he looks way off the pace, keeps giving the ball away cheaply trying fancy flicks.

Mignolet - 7 - commanded the box, made a good save and deserved the clean sheet
Johnson - 6 - expected worse to be honest. He was OK
Can - 7.5 - thought he was pretty good, both defensively and going forward
Lovren - 7 - had a few clumsy errors that he got away with but had a few good tackles and interceptions as well. Was solid overall IMO
Moreno - 6.5 - was OK but he just doesn't THINK at all sometimes
Lucas - 7 - good game I though, nice passing and tackling
Allen - 7 - was OK, not as good as Lucas but scored an important goal
Hendo - 7 - wasn't bad, had some pretty good long searching balls, had Sterling done better with his finishing Hendo would have had more than the one assist
Ibe - 6
Coutinho - 8 - didn't score nor assist but still the best player on the pitch
Sterling - 7 - good goal, should have scored at least one more

Subs:
Borini - 6
Lambert - n/a
