More protest more banners more idea's mate , not giving up for sure . More people like yourself , with passion for the club . More people to educate , to help educate the tourists and the daytippers .More people to get on board and wake our apathetic support out of there slumber, because while we/they are arguing about Rafa or the players we/they are missing out on the oppotunity to vent our anger and frustration at the route cause of the big big problems in our club and that's the owners . We've nothing to lose now ,ONLY OUR CLUB .

And by the time the "daytrippers" are educated already it will be too late. By all means vent your anger, show your disgruntled. Unless you have the means to show you mean business (money) then continue wasting breath. All the protests in the world wont touch our owners, unless you have money then they will listen.

Thats where the problem lies. I used to go to matches, I used to have the money. Now its just a shame. Listen Igor, im not mocking you at all, or the SOS, I just accept things for what they are. All the protesting in the world wont make a jot of difference. Money talks.

A while back in the takeover thread the boycotting matches was mentioned. That could be the answer but it wont happen as Nanny herself admits to still attending matches to support the team. We all want rid of the owners, but unless you have money to do so, it wont happen.

I have a tenner. With that we need gas and electric. And this is the same throughout the country. If you buy a ticket for a Liverpool game, your not going to waste it.
If you want to make a difference, buy all tickets for the rest of the season and dont attend.

But you cant, because even that needs money.

Kharhaz listen mate , it's not the money , i'll pay for your subscribtion to SOS if you want , honeslty . I no your family comes first of course it does. It's your imput and fight we need . Can we as agroup of supporters put to one side the distractions like the league or the manager and come together to rid ourselves of these owners. Things are starting to get much worse now and with reports saying hicks is bringing in his mates we need to all start fighting NOW .

Hicks has always looked to his friends to back him, his health is so bad right now he is looking to shift some stress.

what i dont like the sound of that if this dont come off than Hicks will take the loan from BOA, that is such a bad idea, they will hold our money.

i actually dont know anyone that thinks a change of manager wouldnt be for the best.
I know there are obviously plenty that do but all the lads who go home and away think we need a change.
They still back him at matches though - as they are hopin that it will help, rather than things falling apart even worse.

Sorry fella didn't see this reply till today ,but I would honestly say that the Boys I know who travel away and are season ticket holders know the problem is with the owners ,but they too are slowly becoming disenchanted with the football presently  being played ,but they also understand the importance of realizing the bigger picture and that means not lying the blame for this debacle squarely at the managers feet 

Its this train of thought  that I have a problem understanding even though you and some fans  see it as an end to our problems if we can simply camouflage the financial collapse  with success on the field ,it simply will not happen this problem is deep rooted its not going to mysteriously disappear because we have this concept that a new manager would make a huge difference ...

However  as you stated mate its all about opinions however diverse they may appear to be ,posters and fans can type till their fingers bleed its not going to make one iota of a difference to the turmoil we currently find ourselves in ,but if we all throw our considerable collated weight behind S.O.S then we could possibly have a conceivable influence in the eventual outcome

This is the bit that I don't get Red. The assumption that anyone who thinks we need a different manager doesn't see the "bigger picture". I think it's possible to be fully aware of the bigger picture, to want to get rid of the owners at the first possibility, but still think the manager is a busted flush. This "look at the bigger picture" stuff is akin to telling someone who doesn't think Lucas is good enough that he should forget about all that and concentrate on the owners.

It's clear we need new owners, nobody is disputing that. It's equally clear that Lucas isn't good enough. The two facts aren't inter dependent, they just happen to both be true. For me, it's equally clear that we need a new manager. That's not going to change everything, it's not going to "camoflage" our problems off the pitch, not going to disguise our woes, but it is a fact just the same.

My guess is that all this talk about investment will come to nothing and we will still have these two c...s this time next year. Such talk normally surfaces whenever the manager comes under renewed pressure, it usually disipates once we've won a couple of matches. It'll do the same this time too I should think, people will forget about the "nightmare scenario" of owners which are even worse than the ones we've got once we win a game or two. I don't know where the stories come from but they do seem to come up with unerring regularity, along with news that various of the top clubs in Europe are seeking our managers signature.

I have been one of Rafas biggest critics but understand everything is connected and though a management change would paper over the cracks in the short term the long term with these owners means we will be back to square one not far down the lines.The owners are close to deadline day on settling the loan and thats pressure enough for them but this must intensified both publlicly and on the terraces by the supporters.

The new manager arguement is a none arguement though mick , it's probably a given . Everyones focus must be on the owners now , we cannot afford for supporters to be distracted from the most important issue this club is faceing . It is not  Rafa or Lucas or if rafa blew money on or whatever , it has to be the owners . For to long there's been distractions now . No protests at games because it effects the team , Feck the owners it's rafa that has blew the money and failed . 442 is the way to go . They are all none arguements now , they will be resolved in the summer . We need to be united on this one issue and this alone . Nothing else matters at this juncture . That is the point being made .

This is the way , and i know you've been a critic of Rafa mate and have disagreed with what you have had to say about him . But on this you are 100% spot on . This is what we all need to be uniting behind now . For the future of the club .
