I think that image sums it up.
When our captain publicly and deliberately demonstrates to a world wide tv audience his bemusement at the managers decisions it's time for even the most pro Rafa fans (me included) to admit that it's time for a change.
They say "no individual is bigger than the club". That obviously applies to managers as well as players. As things stand I just don't see Gerrard, Torres and some other players wanting to continue under Rafa's direction. From where I sit if the choice is lose Gerrard and Torres OR Rafa, then for me it has to be goodbye Rafa. I don't think the team could quickly recover if we were to lose our captain and the worlds "best" striker, on the other hand given the malaise thats apparently spread through the team I think in the forthcoming season even Phil Thompson could get more out of the side than Rafa.
I get no satisfaction from stating any of the above, I'm gutted that after restoring us to the European stage and having come within a whisker of delivering the premiership title last season Rafa now looks as though he has no more to offer.
