MAN CITY VS LIVERPOOL - match build up, live updates, reaction

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It will be hard for us but in my opinion we are a better team that last year. We have already more clean sheets that last season all year. Were getting a few wins on the go and certain results suggest that our away for is finally showing some strength. I think the game will be hard fought no doubt as City have been flirting with the top half of the table for some time now. Alonso will be missed indeed but I one thing i was gald to see during the week is the progress Momo Sissoko is making. Hes got great tackling and can come forward aswell and was at one point unlucky not to score after getting away from his defenders in a silky manner. His progress will be vital to the strengh of our midfield. I would probabaly ecpect to see Kewell maybe start this game ahead of Zended. I dont know why but something tells me that he is ready for the first team now.

My predictio: we beat them 3-1

oh come on lynds, even you're falling in to the trap now. how can there be any fatigue? the defence strolled through the game the other day. cisse only played 25 minutes. alonso and garcia were essentially rested.

oh and another thing. this whole notion of 3 games in a week is a myth. it's 3 games in 8 days.

this fatigue thing is a load of garbage. it's an excuse for when you're not winning. considering the good run we're on and our qualification in midweek, the players should be busting a gut to play on saturday.

I'll go with that formation every time (if Kewell shines)
Let's see if Kewell can reproduce the form he showed against Uruguay.

1-0 to us.

Crouch at centre-half? Surely not.

the only way i can see crouch scoring is by having a chance like this

open net 5 yards out

header 5 yards out

the reason for this because of his backlift, the time he takes to shoot hes already been tackled, notice that
