Bellamy was Vidic' worst nightmare and shouldn't of gone off but I thought we put in a great performance - their performance was not that of a championship winning side.

They won and that's all that matters.

And yes I agree with one of the comments made earlier, Rafa lost the plot with the subsitutions. Gonzo is a much better attacker than Auerlio, Pennant was out of his league and Bellamy should never have come off. I'm afraid if he does that next season he will be shown the door by the yanks, just not good enough.

yup... that's the main and ONLY reason why Scum are top now. They have had more than their fair share of luck in fixtures like this. Can't really think of many games where we've won when we should have lost, but the Scum have tons of those.

Forget about buying new players, how do we buy ourselves some luck?

One very good point is that - if Hicks and Gillett were indeed in attendance - they couldn't have been given a better illustration of exactly where we're short. With a top hitman in the middle and a couple of outstanding wingers, we'd have absolutely cantered to a win in that game.

It's horrible, but I'm more confident about Barca than I was before the Man U game.

True-it's a perfect display of what we're lacking - someone who can put the ball in the net and the only good thing that can come from the large amount of times games go like they did today is that something will be done about it eventually.

I cant believe our luck crouch missed a sitter (altho it was a greaqt save from van der sar) and i think that woul;d've been  it if he'd scored there. it wasnt even a free kick for their goal
sissoko shud've gon sooner, he wasnt fit. i wud've kept speedy on, and played bellamy to the end. he shud've gon right, and he still cud've caused vidic problems. if vidic had stevie + bellamy attacking him from both sides, we wud've scored at least 1.
*not that i think they wer especially bad decisions from rafa, just not what i'd hav dun. remember, he's the one that knos what he's doing.
we need david villa next season, he'll get at least 25 goals the way we play, need a finisher like him to win the league

We should have rolled them over midway through the 2nd half but we didn't! Any more moaning will just give the s-cums more satisfaction...looks like they will ride their luck to the title and nothing we can do about it. It's bygones now and Barca should be on our mind...that's the one we should win and winning the ole big ears will set us up nicely for the title next season...heads up buys...YNWA!!!

I had the same feeling i turned round to my misses and said if they score there's gona be a riot, Giggs was looking for that and the Ref had been giving them free kicks all afternoon, i bet they have a secret Manu supporters club at the FA.

Saying all that we played our socks of and i am well proud of the team they outplayed the Mancs at every turn, Bellemy of was strange but Pennant done well when called upon at least he beat his man unlike Gonzo, Well done Lads unlucky it's just ashame when lady luck kicks you in the Gonads.

How we lost i dont know? but there is surely inconsistancy in our attack that is costing us games! We should have buried them, but we didn't why? because we dont have consistancy to score every game and we need to find that! we did it last week against Sheff. United.

Plus Mancs played really defencively! scholes, carrick, giggs weren't even in the game!!!!

Crouch should have brought in earlier! he caused alot of problems and Van der Sar denied him a goal.

Whats up with Bellamy's disallowed goal? did it touch gerrard when it came to bellamy? I guess...

and for all who thinks reina is at fault at goal.. OFF! It is really hard to catch a ball like that and at that speed, not even a world class keeper would have caught that ball.

he was exposed so many times!!! but he did have 2 beautiful scoring opportunities.

I think most of you here is a little harsh on gonzalez, he tried his best, and caused neville some problems, i thought he was decent.
