Lets hope he is'nt surfing the net some night and stumbles across this place.
Just one of Peewees anti Kuyt posts could batter his ego beyond repair,the man would be a shadow of his former self!
Mods if anyone called Dirk Kuyt registers dont let him on!

I rate kuyt and he's a decent player , tracks back and helps but
i don't understand why doesn't rafa drop kuyt for one match , see how the team plays with 2 wingers , riera and babel .

is babel a winger?  ... is babel a striker?  that's our problem with babel...

I rate kuyt and he's a decent player , tracks back and helps but
i don't understand why doesn't rafa drop kuyt for one match , see how the team plays with 2 wingers , riera and babel .

if only we had the same problem with kuyt. he would be dropped then

This guy need to take a pay cut he was awful today.

Hold on - going by that logic, so does Torres, because he was pretty poor today as well, yet Kuyt gets the short end of the stick again. Why? Put it this way, Kuyt is one of the reasons why we're playing CL football this season, so don't forget that. We could have gone out on pens if it weren't for his goal. Love or hate him, he scores vital goals for us in that competition and does a hell of a lot  of the ugly work on the pitch, which 9 out of 10 times gets unnoticed and unappreciated. Who's the alternative out the right? Pennant? Sure he's a bottler. One hard tackle on him and he doesn't want to know.

He's filling the gap. As I said, who's going to fill that role and do a solid job? Pennant is weak as when it comes to helping out the midfield and the full back. I'd rather Kuyt played there until we get someone in January. If people think Rafa is content on constantly playing him as a winger, then they must be mad. If someone is available who can do a job as a winger like Riera is, then no doubt we'll have a new face in January. Wait and see. It's no good just jumping all over a fellas back for trying. That's just a w@nkers trick.

Keanes played right midfield hasnt he? Why dont they rotate during a match? 15 mins each that should do it, sorted patch me through to rafa i'll tell him !

Kuyt has been consistently poor playing that role and thats the only reason everyone seems to agree on not wanting to see him play there again.. dont even compare him to Torres mate because we all know that sooner or later Torres is going to start banging them in.. anyone think that given time Kuyt can come good in that position ? no not even you and that says alot..
And about his goal that apparently seems to be the only reason in the CL... how do u know that Pennant wouldnt have scored it if he was on ? he scored and he got credit for it.. doesnt mean we should play him just because of it..

Pennant is a much better option down the right side for me ... he's played very well in patches last couple of seasons and for the life of me cant understand why Rafa wouldnt even consider him with our right side looking like it is.. its definitely not because Kuyt is playing so well and hes undroppable !

Keane and Kuyt did rotate for a bit today but it didnt work..
best patch in the game was when Benny played wide right and started cutting in.. almost scored twice makes you wonder if we could have managed one if he had been brought in earlier

Doesnt matter. It was one of them games where any lfc player on the pitch almost scored. Even carra almost scored ! They place all players in defence and there goalkeeper turns into superman. How many bloody times has that happened? Its not a great result but like I said elsewhere, at least we didnt lose a goal in the last minute.

He is always awful, and he is a very very average player, he does not deserve a place in LFC first team, he is in there, only for the odd Benitez!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting so frustrated with Dirk Kuyt. Apparently he's a striker but he has the finishing ability of a defender. He can't dribble like a quality midfielder or winger, his passing is average and his first touch is horrid. I really don't care how much he busts a gut playing for us anymore, he really needs to stop being a starter for our club. What has Pennant done so wrong?

kuyt has scored more goals playing as a winger than pennant has... that's what's wrong...

Our record WITH Kuyt is better than our record without him. As Kuyt usually plays when we play the better teams, I think he must either be a very lucky charm, or he does actually on occasion add something to our game (hard work   )

I agree he is not good enough to be a first team regular, but he is good enough to be a squad player. He is a very frustrating player to watch, nothing seems to be easy for him, but I don't think he deserves all the abuse he gets on here. If nothing else he is a Liverpool player who always gives 100%.   

Not good enough but better than his rivals for the position (not inc Gerrard) at the moment. Hopefully someone better will come in at Christmas.
