He's not consistant. I hope he can play like this everytime though.

haven't been watching the game but it looks like lucas is doing terrible, this seems to be the theme for him of late, hope we hold on to Guthrie for a little longer, let them compete straight up against each other.

Voronin has been just as poor as Lucas.

Yeah, but the Mancs and the press were blowing their loads over Nani and Anderson, as well as some people on these forums. All hype if you ask me. People were saying how it was a poor signing by Rafa. For 4 million, it's an inspired one if you ask me. Certainly makes the signing of Nani look like a farce that it was

Yes but Benyoun has been here for a while and is much much older ???

Nani imo is miles better thn benayoun .... due to the fact nani has to settle into england and is quicker and more skill and better shot

We need to work on crossing. I can't remember a single heading from Crouch this afternoon.

If you think back 5 years ago, would we have been capable of putting out a second string side to come back from 2-0 down away from home? Or indeed a second string side that also won 2-0 a week before?

Proves nothing. In my opinion, if you sign a player for 17 million, then he better be up to scratch in his first season regardless. He should be world class. He isn't.
