Now that his didn't get off, we're probably looking at 2 to 3 game ban, with the squad this fecked as it is we can't just go missing CB's because he got away with 2 similar tackles before .
But Degen, his def. was not a direct red. Felt bad for the guy, looked like he was going to cry at one point before leaving the field.
The first red looked a bit harsh, but in fairness it probably looked worse to the ref and he has to make a judgement on what he sees and at the time.
Carra's red, I trust, will get rescinded on appeal since he got the ball. Not that I think we would have got a draw out of it at that stage anyway. Perhaps he was a little lucky not to see red last week or concede a penalty earlier in the game yesterday, if he gets away with a rescinded red over the two games then perhaps he will be a little fortunate overall.
I don't believe the panel can do anything with Degen's red can they? Isn't there some pompous regulation about not being able to rescind any card that was a bookable challenge? It probably should have been yellow, don't they make it so reds that should have been yellows stay red? Can't say as it wasn't entirely undeserved, yet another player sent off for a stupid needless challenge, at least Carra's was for a challenge that had to be made and was in his own half
