City is seeing a lot of balls now...Silva is floating in the middle with a lot of space. I see him as the danger man

The tide has certainly turned. We can't give space to these guys otherwise we'll get punished.

Think he was due to replace Firmino. Henderson is injured and Origi was ready to come on before Henderson went down.

Why is Fermino trying to do the flashy stuff on a good opportunity?

Well done...another 3 points in the pocket. Overall didn't play well but Gini & Milner were massive and we showed great character in the end

Great result. 2nd half City were better but what else would we expect from a team like them! Even though City had a lot of possession they didn't really threaten us.

Defensively we did really well and shut them down in the final third.

We can't always win with our heavy metal footy so to be honest the manner in which we won is good for the team. Its shows we can form a solid unit defensively.

6 points off Chelsea now still a long way to go.

Was always confident about today. City lost a couple of games this season where teams have got in their faces and never let them get going. Quite a comfortable 3 points I thought. Yes, City bossed possession in the second half but created absolutely nothing. Think the game could have carried on for another 45 mins and we wouldn't have conceded. Job done and onto Sunderland now.

Far from perfect but a fooking massive 3 points  :buttrock and a fantastic end to 2016  :nod
Keeps the pressure on the Chavs and puts a little gap between us and city again. The Chavs are going well and might just usurp Arsenals record but it won't last much longer than that and we will be there to capitalise  :nod
Massive result and I believe it announces us as serious title contenders  :buttrock 2017 could be the year lads  :eyebrow
