The owners won't get trigger happy unless or until it looks like that champions league pot of gold is gone (or going)  for next season. Even if we continued playing dogged, scruffy, bl.oody ugly football (like last night) I fancy we will still be in the mix for 4th place come the final weeks of the season so I think i'd get my head around the fact that Rafa is here for the rest of the season.

I really dont think I will bother going if hes still here next season
Just the thought of it is depressing   :p

You go way OTT, just as you do with Lucas, despite possibly having a point.

Capello is hardly the most animated character and he's considered one of the best managers around.

And I suppose Rafa's lack of outward emotion didn't do us any harm on the way to Istanbul. He was focussed on getting the job done, which one presumes every fan wants their manager to be doing. When it's all said and done...well, then

That's what.

I wouldn't bother, mate.

I ask people... name me another manager in the history of football who doesnt celebrate their team scoring??...EVER. The language i used wasnt over dramatic. Anyone who has read the stuff about him as a kid and how his father told him it was ok to cry when he got hurt (but he still didnt), would understand. Because his mind is not clogged up with emotion, he has more capacity for statistics and analysis (this is a trait of the Chinese)...and as a kid he played a tactic board game and destroyed everyone he played. He is renowned as one of the weakest manmanagers in the game because he has no people skills...Gerrard "maybe i will get a well done out of him one day", Carra "whatever you tell Rafa hes done it better", Torres being congratulated on his kid by everyone bar Rafa who came up to him an instead talked about a near post run from the previous game, Alonso "we had a working relationship" who was disgracefully treated on the issue of wanting to see his son born, Pako ran off as he couldnt work with the man, Ballague stating "rafa has a short life cycle with players before they run out of patience with him", All the commentators when we score "come on smile Rafa", and at both Valencia and Liverpool he has dictated that he runs the entire club... Valencia he left, at Liverpool he got his demands... and we are the ONLY club where this is the case. Control freak.

He is a very black and white strategic type person, very little emotion. This is why he has been immensely successful in many tactical battles in the Champions League...(ie.over Mourinho) because his mind is free from any emotional stuff, so has a greater capacity to think tactics, stats, strategy. While this is a great advantage in terms of outsmarting his opponent, the disadvantage is not having the emotional side (ie,good manmanagement, motivational, come on guys) that top coaches have in being able to inspire. This eventually alienates people as Rafa is so good at doing.

I know. Complete sh*t talker. Everyone knows better than a manger who's won European trophies and league titles, and according to Sigmund f*cking Freud here, who is clearly in the know all and in Rafa's mind, Benitez is some sort of cold-hearted robot who wasn't hugged enough as a child. Complete load of f*cking shyte! Gets worse by the day on here.

Yes the psycho analysis (Freudian) does seem extreme, as football is predominantly discussed on a basic level of .."hes sh*t"... "why do we play 4-5-1"...."that ref is a cheating w*nker"... "f*ck off yanks"

....pretty mundane stuff. My point is purely based on the reality that Rafa is an oddball, cold, distant, never addresses the question hes being asked...but will throw in a soundbite "we were controlling the game"... "we were working really hard"....pap.

He reminds me of Jack from an episode from Father Ted, when Ted learnt him two standard phrases for the bishops.... "YES"... "That would be an ecumenical matter"

He has the art of being a bluffer down to a tee.. hence never addresses the onfield problems. Its Houlli mk II

Boocity, you must have seen stu banned many times before, right?

'He needs shooting....' said of our current manager? ????

Instant ban in my opinion.

Yes I have seen him banned before, I missed that bit about shooting the manager. Out of order
