Anyone actually know the last time Kuyt was dropped? Not rested like against Preston, actually dropped?

Lets not try to find excuses for him. He is a limited player .... Gerrard, Torres, Alonso, Reira & Keane have carried Kuyt this season. Take out 2 or more of the above players and Kuyt shows you what an "awesome" limited player he is.

One thing i don't get...benitez is so obsessed with having players fresh...but kuyt has been doing his headless chicken act the entire season and he is one of the least dropped players... you figure it.

And when is benitez gonna learn than playing kuyt as a lone striker does not work......We lost the champions league final playing this way with kuyt and he still persists with him...

Keanes carried Kuyt this season? F**k off mate. Kuyt should be on the wing, where hes been scoring and setting up. But to say Keane has carried anyone is a ridiculous statement.
Keane should have started yesterday i agree, but with Kuyt on the wing. Rafa is the one to blame for his play system.

Had enough of him now, brings nothing to the team apart from work rate. Most of the time he's only chasing the ball down because he's lost the ball anyway! got the touch of a rapist. Nearly every move breaks down as soon as he's near the ball, poor in possesion, no skill, no physical attributes and basically has a criminal lack of footballing ability. How someone with so little ability is playing at the highest levels of proffesional footaball is beyond me, he needs to be moved on ASAP!

When kuyt was in good form where the :censored:

were all you moaners ? Just because results have not gone our way , the first one to get the stick is kuyt , well kuyt's goals have got us where we are , victories against man city and wigan , bolton and if it wasn't for him we could be playing in the uefa cup right now . His hardwork on the right have contributed to our position as well . Yes he has been poor this last 3 to 5 games or so but he has been upfront alone and isolated . Play him with a partner and see the difference .

TH rafa wants to deal with FACTS reguarding manure, heres a FACT Dirk Kuyt has been shite the last 5-6 games I am not making it up he has been it is a FACT.
Therefore he should be dropped and let someone else have a go thats fair isnt it?

When we signed Kuyt you were one of his biggest fans (and his 1st fan here if i remember correctly)...So I don't think you will criticise him unfairly...

The fact really is he has performed woefully. I can't believe some members here actually try to find ways to "excuse" his performances.

I mean...for any other striker....or right winger we appraise them like :

1)The number of goals scored
2)The number of assists he has provided
3)How he led the line

But for Kuyt....we have to lower the spectrum....we have to talk about how much he ran.....how much he press the leftbacks..... Come on.

He's been sh!te due to the sh!te system Rafa has played him in. He will be on the right with 2 up front tonight, and he'll score.

Yes he has underperformed this last few matches or so but every player goes through a rough patch of form . He was sensational early on this season and i think he will get back to his best soon and maybe tonight . One things for sure we will need kuyt tonight .
