Has been woeful the last two games and remains on the pitch for the full 90 minutes  :no

He is really out of form, keeps giving the ball away and that passing back to the defence yesterday really feckin p!ssed me off.

Kuyt should be a squad player.......he merits being in the first 16 but not the starting 11

His overhit through ball to Gerrard yesterday was a classic example of why some of us get exasperated with him. You could see by the way Gerrard looked at him, as if to say "Why the f.uck did you have to blast it accross the area like that !!!! ????". The run in was perfectly timed and Kuyt had a huge margin for error once he'd got the cross through the defenders legs (if that doesn't sound like a contradiction in terms  :D ). But seriously, any footballer would tell you it was an easy pass to make, didn't have to be inch perfect or anything, just rolled into the captains path and it was 2-1 before half time, and in all probablity game over.

Then, why do we insist on moving him up top? He is absolutely awful up front IMHO, far far better at right midfield and I wonder how many times he has to prove that he absolutely hates it up front (you can visibly see him shrink into his shell once he's put up there) before we decide to leave him in his best position. Notwithstanding the overhit pass, he does a goodish job on the right. Please though, spare the poor bloke and the poor fans the travesty of having to watch him play up front. Enough of that idea already.

I think Rafa had a fling in Holland about 27 years ago.

I agree regarding him not looking greqat up front although he did put in a nice assist to Benayoun against Hull last week.

The way I see it is Kuyt created an opportunity others couldn't have and it was actually Gerrards mistake as much as Kuyt's. He may of put a bit much on it but Gerrard could of gotten to it IMO.

Dan it wasn't an "assist" to Benayoun, he won aheader which Benayoun then provided as an "assist" to gerrard.

As for the pass to Gerrard, we'll just have to agree to differ on that one,. It was only IMHO because Gerrard's such an athlete that he got there at all, the pass was way overhit.

He's absoloutely rubbish and no premier league team will win a title with him as a regular starter.

El Zhar's a better player.

Imagine seeing El Zhar on the right with Alonso and Gerrard in the middle and Riera on the left with two strikers... maybe we actually might beat these sides that are there for the taking... why would we want to do that though?

Lets just keep taking players off and doing stupid :censored: things and playing rubbish.
