He had a shocker yesterday and agree with Bob that he should have been replaced at the hour mark.

Having said that, I don't think that he's as terrible as made out. He's a striker with limitations but we knew that. To get the best out of him, we need to play to his strengths.... something we've not been able to do with a whole host of strikers we've tried out in recent years.... Morientes, Cisse and Crouch being the 3 more obvious ones.

The strikers we've bought (bar Torres) have quite simply not suited the style of play we choose to employ. A player like Drogba or Carew is more suited to the system Rafa prefers.

So for me.... no. Dirk is not as terrible as all that..... We tried to change his game for whatever reason (maybe to better suit the premiership style) and unfortunately, it hasn't worked out.

He only performs well on the right wing, scoring goals cuttin into the box from the second line. As he plays for Holland.

oh its great isnt it . Kuyt plays well and scores goals and gets no credit . He has a below par game , yet still helps set up both goals, and he is back to being :censored: and all the other pathetic names fickle idiots call him . Pathetic .

GYBS he is not good enough and never will be, simple as

but as for yesterday it isnt his fault the manager chooses to keep him on when he was clearly having a shocker, yes yes yes he had a hand in two goals but he could easily have scored two aswell, hence we win the game.

what we shouild be questioning is the managers substitutions and why he chooses to leave over 30 million worth of talent on the bench till 10 minutes to go, the question of whether kuyt is good enough is simple, he isnt

isnt good enough ? Who says so ? People far more qualified than most on here do think he is good enough and important to the team . And which 30 mil pound worth of talent ? Do you mean keane ? Think kuyt has scored double what keane has so far this season .

good enought then? who says so?
who are these so-called people who are more qualified?
how many times has kuyt been taken off the way keane has?
how many starts has kuyt had compared to keane?

come on GBYS mate even you cant say he didnt deserve to be replaced yesterday and why not keane he played well midweek and what a chance to give the fella a well needed boost to his confidence had he managed a goal, i doubt he could of done any worse than kuyt.

like i said not his fault he was left on but the managers, questions need to be asked about his substitutions and are they made to aid the team, yesterday i just didnt see it

like i said mate he didnt have a greatest game yesterday but understand why he stays on due to his energy levels and has popped up with a late contribution on a number of occasions now where as keane hasnt yet and needs to earn his place . Did ok tues but acted like a spoilt child .pretty much the same way max acts on here . Like a child .

mascherano is an improved version of sissoko though isnt he ?

Mascherano is the kind of player who would relish being in a side like Barcelona or RealMadrid... dont think we need him in 9 out of 10 games though and same was said about sissoko and in my books that was the reason we got rid in the first place... Gerrard and Alonso would do just fine in the middle with 2 upfront in most games... thats why yet and again you find people in the match thread calling for the likes of Sissoko and Mascherano to be taken off and a more attacking player with more ability on the ball to be brought on... both very good defensive midfielders but as some top teams in the world have proven in past years you dont alwways need to have one of those players to win games and have good defensive records...

back to Kuyt though i think he'd make a good right back  :p

Is he bringing £18.5m pounds worth of game to the pitch? He is great when it is backs against the wall and we need to defend well against top sides but against the likes of Hull what did he offer apart from many, many awful passes that went astray! AND STILL IT'S KUYT THAT GET'S ALL THE BASHING!

not getting grumpy at all , your just acting like a school kid . And its laughable . Stick to the subject as opposed to trying to make funny little quotes which in turn just make you look stupid .
